    Great video guys! -Question for you: we are traveling to Los algadones for dental work in a few weeks. The dental office said we could cross the border and back with a driver's license and birth cert. It's too late for us to get a passport. Do you know who we can contact to verify that we don't need a passport?? -thanks!

  • @TheTravelingPisces

    @TheTravelingPisces

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi guys! Pretty sure it’s a requirement for you now to have a passport but we are not the experts on it. We would suggest contacting homeland security or the Border Customs Office on the US side. All of the borders that we’ve walked over to into Mexico did not check our IDs but you’re going to have to show them coming back through the US border. Good luck. Let us know what you find out :-)

    Hi. Going in to Mexico you don't need anything, we walked right in no problem. Coming back into the States we used our Passports. Not sure if you can just use a state ID. I would check the Homeland Security website to find out what exactly is valid for re-entry.

    We are headed their tomorrow for my boyfriend's dentist. He is having major work done and here in America he was looking at $60k! Let me say they are worth the flight or drive, he's looking at totally bill for bone grafts and implants $15k. We have gone twice to check out different dentists because he has a cleft palate and lip and he felt really comfortable with all the dentist we spoke to. They were very honest, what he needed is out of some dentists range and they were very upfront. We spoke to many in America and none of them were that confident. My mom had hers done her as well and she loves hers.

    What was the currency exchange rate? Was there a limit on meds allowed back into the US? Prescriptions required? No problems with video recording anywhere?

  • @TheTravelingPisces

    @TheTravelingPisces

    4 жыл бұрын

    The exchange was about 18:1 As far as we know there is no limitation on how much you can bring back to the states, we've had friends say that the usually go and get a six months supply worth. You do NOT need a prescription. And no problems with recording. We did have an office stop us but it was only to ask what i had (GoPro) in my hand, i guess he had never seen one before.
