I got mine on the black Friday sale and think I got 20% off. They also have the cube system now that is a bit smaller and less money. Good review.

Thank you so very much. I’m sure of the exact weight empty but I would guess 15 pounds. Then obviously water weight you add to it.

Hi love the video just received mine and mounted it! I used those plastic clamps for the roof rack and they just seem cheap to me seems like it’s held snug but not sure if I trust it with water in. Did you change yours for a beefier one and if so which or did you always use the plastic? Thanks

So I have been running mine for a while with no problem. The mounting is aluminum and I’m hoping that it is mounted through the plastic. Either way I haven’t had any issues.

Now living up north of Canada i wonder if the batterie would handle the cold ... is this something you test with the electric rinse kit ?? also since you post have you try the instant hot water from rinse kit ? thx

You are so welcome and glad and I can help. This past winter I pulled it off the rig and put it inside to not destroy the pump if it froze. My theory with that is if it’s so cold that I can’t charge the battery more than likely all the water would be frozen also so what is the point of having it. The whole dealing with freezing water thing is very new to me so I’m still figuring out systems to combat. Hope this helps.

I think that they are completely different uses. The geyser is an amazing and efficient hot shower. The rack shower I feel is more utility to rinse of gear and clean things up. You definitely could shower with the rinse kit if you get the heater but I won’t shower with cold water unless I have to. IMHO.

Nice review. Do you have to remove the entire tank to charge the battery?

Thank you so much. No I have been through my EcoFlow River battery pack up on the roof with a usb cable and charging it that way. No need to remove the battery. It’s awesome.

Great video. I want to buy one. I just have one doubt. What is the maximum separation of the hooks for the roof bar?

Thank you so much. The mounts on the bottom of the rack shower are adjustable to full length of the rack shower itself. It is very adjustable.

How do you check the quantity level? I’m using the finger over the plastic straw method 😊

There is an electric gauge on the display. It should tell you the water level. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately I don’t have any hands on experience with the Ironman. I have only talked to them about it, never actually used it so unfortunately I can’t speak to the functionality of it.

Can it be mounted on the side of the rack?

I’m pretty sure it can if you have enough room. There is L Track on all 3 sides. Should be easy.

Absolutely, it is so convenient to use, mostly for washing off muddy mountain bikes!

Yakima still stands as #1 bc it’s not plastic. It’s not a pain in the butt. lol. Aluminum is better. Period. It’s plastic.

What makes aluminum better than plastic? The Rack Shower is better in every way, design, looks, mounting, functionality, storage, filling! Do a side by side test and I’m certain you will agree with me!

@@AdventureBuilt looks? They look the same. Couple grooves. Filling is exactly the same, and it’s plastic. It won’t warm, nearly as quick or as hot as aluminum. Aluminum is going to last longer. The only difference is is the heating ability but you have to buy a $400 heating box and figure out where to fit that in your vehicle. I’ve seen a side by side, why I went with the Yakima. Durability, and the length of the hose doesn’t matter because they’re all the same quick detachments. Only PLUS is it’s chargeable rather air compression. Slosh, fill it up all the way.
