I recently saw a non-Marvel movie with Tom Hiddleston in a completely different kind of role. It was weird only for a moment, because he is such a terrific actor. And he landed the perfect role as Loki. Hiddleston may be able to play many different characters in his career, but I don't think any other actor could play Loki as well.

But this is not the original 1,000 years old Loki. This is variant 1130 who was "born"/created by the Tesseract in 2012. So he's really only 8 years old.

Yeah. I want to see more shapeshifting; we've HEARD that he turned into a snake when he was eight and we've HEARD that he turned Thor into a frog, but we haven't SEEN him do anything like that. A fun scene that I'd like to see: Mobius- "You can't weasel out of this." Loki-"Watch me." Turns into a literal weasel and scampers off.

That shot is 100% Loki in Pompeii when Mount Vesuvius erupted, you can see the streams from where rock / degree has fallen from the sky after it erupted + the buildings fit the typical Roman style

In that scene where Loki is talking with the female version of himself, why does she kinda look like 2012 Black Widow, with the red hair and all.

When you mess with time, it tends to mess back.

Ok, hear me out: Loki and Mobius hit a climactic point of disagreement in an elevator conversation at the TVA. The doors start to open, but M holds L back. Doors open fully, and in walks post-Endgame Steve Rogers in his Pym/Stark time travel suit complete with Mjolnir and suitcase of infinity stones. Closed mouth smiles all around. Cap pushes a button. Awkward silence. L- “So you-“ S- (holding up Mjolnir) “Yeah.” Loki nods silently. *Ding* The doors open. Cap exits with a nod. Mobius holds Loki back again. M- “This isn’t us.” Doors close.

I love the style of the interior scenes of the Time Variant Authority. It is very 1979/1980 or what back then we thought what the future would look like. The whole vibe feels like a Terry Gilliam movie like "Brazil" or "the Time Bandits". And yes as you indicated. "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Especially all the bureaucratic scenes like they were in each movie with the offices of the bureaus and the old machinery like the dot matrix printer. This is the series I am looking forward to the most because it will a bit of a mind bender.

Im so excited for this and somethin tells me its gonna be weirder than wandavision...

only thing bothering me is how small the paper stack of everything he's said, isn't loki like thousands of years old.

I know they are all very interesting and complicated, but you can’t deny the best easter egg was seeing Loki sitting in that golden throne again! It’s just so thrilling and exciting!

in an earlier trailer Loki was in some ancient Roman looking city with people running in panic, the explosion scene looks like it might be the same place. if I had to guess I would say Pompeii during the eruption of Vesuvius. around the 1:41 mark in the trailer that thorn room is a mix of Loki and Frigga. The thorn is shaped like Loki's horns from his helmet but at the top of each there is a swan, in Norse mythology she is associated with water fowl. The plants could be a node to her sacred places being wetlands, marshes, swamps, ponds, and other places associated with life as she is the All-Mother.

Owen Wilson hell yeah this is gonna be a good movie, and let's not forget Loki

Seeing as one of the scenes from the first trailer showed Loki somewhere in the roman empire, I'm fairly certain that the explosion at 2:08 is Mount Vesuvius

I love how they used the inside of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis as the TVA. The Marriott is the main hotel where DragonCon is held every Labor Day weekend.... there will be SOOO many Loki costumes at DragonCon this year, getting authentic backdrops for photos :)

This is what Legion tried to be aesthetically but ultimately couldn’t pull it off.

It reminds me of Brazil as far as TVA works with the paperwork and such. As soon as I saw the Roxxcart sign I geeked out. I wonder if Deathlok will be in any of the realities.

Would love to see a Series with Loki (both male and female), Agatha, Wanda and Strange (or substitute Wong in if Cumberbatch is too expensive for TV) as "Marvel: The Magicians".

This looks so damn cool. Can't wait for this and "What If...?" to release.
