I couldn't agree more. I too, am married to a white woma. Not because I have a particular preference, but I just happened to find love with her. I hate brothers who degrade black women to justify dating outside their race so respect to you man. Love who you love, make no apologies for it.

Soulmates are very hard to find and no matter what color they are if you are fortunate enough to find a soulmate you grab them and hang on to them. This is actually a very well presented video. It's very realistic. And I really like it's low key nature. It basically just says that they liked each other and got married. But they were well aware that not everyone would see it that way so they took precautions. The great thing is that love overcame the barriers. The sad thing is that there were barriers to begin with. True, the only issue is warning people who blindly believe stereotypes that they can change someone they love who only use them. Over half of relationships end wrong leaving someone suffering. Just because someone has a look and a possibility of being betterm doesn't mean you have to fix to your preference. In fact, that often causes abuse by the one you try to change. You can't keep a cheater from cheating. If they look like someone who can attract a lot of people, they won't stop trying to find better. If they tone it Don't in public and stay off social media, there might be a small chance things will work out.

Very good video. I too am in a interracial relationship and I am a brother to all good people. I am also a tactical security consultant and personal safety expert and so, I constantly worry about some these people who strike out at others simply because of superficial reasons. This is so Important to consider for your wives, girlfriends and children if, you have the responsibility of providing a safe environment for them. We are in fact a micro-minority in a time when idiots are brewing false racial and sectarian tensions among neighbors. It is really sad.

+jf1325 you need a science lesson. There is only one human race. There is no black race or white race - they are simply variations within our race similar to a black labrador and a blond labrador. Secondly, the combination of these variations can strengthen the immune system of offspring e.g. a white European has different immune protection than a west African - the combination can provide broader immunity. +jf1325 it's not a diversity argument - it's science i.e. fact. Perhaps you were home schooled by people who substituted their opinions for the universally accepted principles of science, in which case you have been severely disadvantaged, however even a cursory Google search can help bring you into the 21st century.

You know, I don't think a university education is necessary to be an intelligent well-rounded adult- only experience and an open mind. Everyone of us inherits a set of prejudices and a particular world view from our parents and we later discover that our school teachers, professors and class mates have their own perhaps different biases; it is by listening to others that we are able to confirm our own positions or realise that we were given a view coloured by subjectivity, fear and ignorance. if you were raised by people and only associate with people who hold racist views, how will you test those views? By having the courage to go and spend time with people of a different ethnic origin, by travelling to Africa, South America, Europe and finding out for yourself.

+Stephen Porter I agree. My parents met in the 1970's in the UK black and white. All families accepted it fine, no hiding, no secrets. While Americans are still hiding today.

I like that the white girl is herself and does not talk with “chocolate” in her voice or try to be black. Looks like it Just “happened” and they loved each other

My family have had interracial marriges since the 1850s and we have had no major problems with discrimination here in New Zealand ... so it comes as a shock that the widespread acceptance of interracial relationships are still relatively new to America

No numbers but large enough.....Of course there have been cultural and racial troubles and biases but today it is all pretty sweet. Marriage between Maori and Pakeha (Maori name for white NZ'ers) is not a "thing", particularly amongst the younger generations.

When growing up colour wasn't even as issue until one day a friend of my ask a answer why are you different to your 3 other siblings, sibling were Pakeha & I was a Maori I never saw there were different to me as we brought up in the same household, it wasn't until I was 14 it was brought to me & my sibling my true identify that I had a different father & other siblings, yes I was wondering why this wasn't told earlier, the point here is I accepted my siblings and today our relationship is strong and the love we have for each other has't change and why should it be.

djinnov8 - In the USA, it was a caste system instituted with blacks at the bottom and easily pointed out pre and post slavery. This persists even today, which explains a lot of the dysfunction in the USA on both extremes (of idiocy). What a fantastic story!!! I'm Hispanic and dated a couple of black men. After awhile we stopped seeing each other because we knew that family would be in opposition . However, if I had loved either one enough, I think I would've went ahead with it . This was back in the early seventies. Love does not see color.....the heart sees the real person. I definitely think it's great that this couple have a bond that can weather the many trials and storms of life. Agreed, it is certainly more challenging being in an interracial relationship. But, let's be fair, just because it's challenging does not mean it should be "off-limits." Often times, the greatest spoils follow the greatest adversity. Certain people will look at an interracial relationship and say that it is "wrong," when, In reality, they are probably not fairing well themselves.

I agree Jeremiah, people are so different now and it’s hard not to go about your days feeling discouraged. It’s all about hook ups or break ups. However, good people are out here, some are taken and some aren’t...they just keep a low profile.

Love is all that matters. People should live for themselves, and not for other's approval. I have a white father and white grandfather, and my mother is Mullato. It is not as frown upon when the woman is a light skin black with a white, such as my mom. Blacks and whites make beautiful children. Glad this woman have the balls to live life for herself. My Uncle Dave married a black lady in 1973 in Louisiana. They remained married till he passed away. So they had a very long marriage. They say the more diverse the d.n.a., the stronger the children. This couple has the most beautiful children. Lovely

Where do these people live? (It must be the south) where I’m from it’s not even an issue. Where I’m from there’s so many couples who are mixd ethnicities that it’s just the norm.

I’m in an interracial relationship (in 2017) and my boyfriend and I went to a fundraiser in our small town and were asked to leave. Even though everyone knew (at that point) we had been together for 1 year. I can’t imagine having to hide it. On another note, this is a gorgeous family and the way they all look at each other anyone can see it’s pure, unadulterated, love.

My parents are an interracial couple who married in 1978 in the south. They faced hardships I couldn't imagine dealing with and had a very successful 30 year marriage.

These two make me so happy... I love their commitments to each other.. funny thing is, we smirk at other cultures for " arranged" marriages, right?? Well when we're told we are supposed to marry our same race, isn't that kind of like an "ARRANGED MARRIAGE"???

So lucky to have Sherri man, she's sweet and beautiful. I'm in a interracial relationship too.
