IMO the rule was interpreted correctly but I have a problem with not allowing the catcher to move forward when he knows the runner is advancing to steal home. They act as if Neal should sit back and allow runner to slide in safe.

I agree that they interpreted the rule correctly... however, they assumed he was on the plate. The actual design of the play I believe was to draw interference and bring it to there attention... if you can't review it, should you be able to complain and get the call changed

You need to go watch sec network. They covered it with different angles. He was on the plate and it was before he caught the ball. You can clearly see the Catcher looking at 3rd base before the pitch and he saw the runner break. That is why he was on the plate before the ball got there. FWIW I bleed purple and gold but it is undeniable.

I even ran it in slow motion to make sure he was on the plate before the ball got there, like the rule says it needs to be. It did get there after he was on the plate. I'm not sure what you are seeing. I watched all of the video out there last night. No video, not one shows him on the plate. His right foot is clearly to the side. The only possibility is his left knee, but his knee hitting the ground is near simultaneous with receiving the ball and it also appears to be to the side but barely.
