That’s really cool. I’m a mixed race person that comes from a mixed race family I admire Interracial couples. I have a lot of respect for them. Is shows that race is nothing but a color. We are all human God made us all to walk and bleed the same way. Its all about what’s inside the heart, NOT ethnicity or skin color.

@@Irish-Rose Have you watched or heard anything about the Little Rock Nine, I.e., the nine black students tormented in their high school because of their colour? That happened in Arkansas, also a southern state in 1957.

I met this sweet German girl while in the army I loved her and wanted to marry her about 30 years ago. But deep down I didn't want to bring her to America and break her gentle loving spirit. I think about her often.

My parents married in the early 1970's in England and did not have to sneak about. Both families came to the wedding and never had ANY fights over it and we are all close. America is/was very backward about race.

Punto Devista San Francisco was way ahead of everyone else. My aunt married a Black man in 1977, & they didn’t have any problems. San Francisco had mixed schools when the rest of the country was forcing integration. What a difference

I heard about Teddy and his juke joint before I met him. The picture they painted of Teddy and the hospitality they were shown caused me to right a song about his juke joint. I was so glad when I had a chance to visit that it was just as they had described. He and Nancy are exactly like you see here...warm and friendly...if you ever met them you'd feel the same way. I will post the song "Teedy's Juke Joint" shortly. Just proves that love has no color barriers !!

Blessed Beyond Yes, & there were many stories like that. Ignorance is a terrible thing, it’s what creates racism. My Aunt married a wonderful Black man back in 1977, here in San Francisco. But, they didn’t have many problems, because San Francisco was pretty integrated, even back then.

Great Video! A+. Seeing Interracial Couples makes me happy! I'm an advocate for it. It's the inside of a person that counts. Don't let someone stop you from dating what makes you happy.

For them two from down south is the luckiest couple alive to experiences a toughest situation from their relationship that can effects other people.

Hey keep going!! My wife are interracial pioneers! We have 2 lovely daughters 37 and 34! We've been together for 40 years. I remember bringing my wife to the States from the UK and visiting my parents in Charleston SC! The looks the comments out in the open. We were mortified! Then my wife turned it one day and said to woman who was staring hard, Lisa said, "it's real it's really real", our perspective changed then. We would never allow the ignorance of others to determine our happiness. We're here for you and would love to talk and share experiences!

Fanta Graham You have no understanding of real racism.....it is nothing but ignorance. The past has nothing to do with two ppl who fall in love. Ppl fall in love with a person, not a color. The past is the past. You can only be responsible for your own actions, not someone else’s . If your father killed someone, that has nothing to do with you. We are all humans, with different cultures. The racism, hatred, & ignorance needs to stop

Love this! When my grandma first met my white husband she was also very scared because of her time growing up in segregation

We are dealing with major racial issues now. My white friends always say when I talk to them about my fear for my black grandsons "as long as they obey the law they won't have a problem". That's not true. And it offend me when they say that because they're saying all blacks that get locked up or hassel by the police deserved it and that's Not True.
