A father of the bride shared a hilarious moment on the altar with his new son-in-law, presenting him with a step stool for the first kiss with his daughter, who is six inches taller than him. Groom William Burns, 33, is five feet, six inches; whereas his wife, Amanda, from Hammond, Louisiana, is six feet tall, without heels. William shares a strong, upbeat relationship with his father-in-law, Rusty Varnado, 63, and so ahead of the ceremony, Rusty said to his daughter that she shouldn't wear heels - she wasn't planning to - and joked that William would need a stool for the first kiss. And so Rusty and his daughter planned a surprise - he would halt proceedings, bringing out a step stool to present to his new son-in-law for the kiss itself.

@@rashadwalker8218 When I guy is great, you seriously don’t see his height. I would think it would be better to escape the person who would overlook someone for just superficial reasons. There is a lovely couple on YT where the wife is a model and her husband is quite a bit shorter than she is and they are both lovely people. Make sure you don’t walk through the world concentrating on your height because it will be the sure way to draw attention to your own insecurities 😉

Its normally women who care about the height difference. I've heard exactly ONE MAN say he wouldnt date a woman over 5'7", but I've heard scores of women say "If you're under 6 ft don't even bother." Good for her.
I couldn’t stop crying at how close the dad and groom look. So wonderful. The stuff we really need to see.
