My husband is not an emotional person. He never has been. He's known as stoic and quiet. It's something I've never begrudged or been angry with, as it's just who he is. He's the love of my life and I know he loves me too, in his own quiet and peaceful way. So, imagine my surprise when he began weeping softly when reading his vows during our wedding. Our photographer captured the moment. And every time I see it I think "That stoic man cried because he was so happy to marry me. I know how much he loves me."

This made me break down completely. My young Wife passed away in March 2020. She was an absolutely Beautiful Bride and I never could have imagined that I would lose her so young. So my husband actually gave me some insight into why some guys get emotional at that moment. I had to ask Lol. He said the it was a few things. He said "of course because you looked so beautiful" but also said "there's something about seeing you and your father, and the feeling that your father his putting his trust in ME to take care of this precious human being" His words! He just made me cry AGAIN! 😭😭

I married the boy I had a crush on at 14...after being best friends for only a year we lost contact due to school districts..8 years later we run into eachother and we got married within weeks 🥰 we've been married for 10 years and I still get teary eyed when i look at him most of the time. The feeling of safety, comfort and TRUE love is still overwhelming in the best possible way 💕😌💕

My husband cried when I walked down the aisle to him last year. He doesn't usually cry or show emotion in front of people, so I was surprised. All his friends were surprised too. I was crying too. We both look back at our wedding day and feel happy. One of the best days of our lives. ❤

For all the single ladies, girlfriends, fiancées and wives, please don't hold a grudge against your man if he didn't/doesn't cry or if he didn't have a reaction like any of the men in this video. People are different and deal with their emotions differently. It's more important that he shows love everyday than if he cries on just one specific day. Bless you all.

For context, my husband is very stoic, quiet and a bit nervous around other people so he may seem a bit cold (his voice is even lower than usual). When he's around me is very happy-go-lucky, talks a lot and gives me plenty of kisses. Just a cute introvert and yours might be also!

I'll never forget how hard my husband cried when I brought our first baby into the world. He was so overjoyed and his energy of gratitude filled the whole room. The nurses cried, my parents cried, I cried, and when our son took his first breath and we heard him cry for the first time, our lives changed forever. I will never forget the look on my husbands face. We are currently pregnant with baby #3 and I swear in my wildest dreams I never knew such happiness. My cup is overflowing. My heart is so full. Everyday I feel blessed. . . I suffer from anxiety and depression. As a teen I never thought id live a long life. But when I met my husband, for the first time I saw a future for myself. I knew i wanted to live a long life if I was living with him. I am so glad I didnt die before I got my chance at life.. For anyone struggling, it really truly does get better. Sometimes with medication, sometimes with good people who love you, sometimes with prayer or whatever works for you. But it does get better

@brown bird what you have described covered myself and alot of my friends with the exception of the theological slant. I think thats a public pigeon hole more so than peoples actual beliefs. Running into these girls we really liked after many a year was ironic when they remained single and we had met a woman who actually respected us and laughed and joked with us instead of us having to be or act or look a certain way.

I cried like a baby at mine and I don't regret it at all. I feel like the groom is often more emotional on the day because, let's be honest, most of the actual wedding day is a surprise to the groom. We don't know the ins and outs and what to expect so it's just hitting us all at once. The moment I saw my wife walking down the aisle it all came pouring out.

I feel like men cry the most at weddings because it took them all this willpower and percistence to finally see the love of their lives stand there all for them.. A chapter of life fully completed.

My husband didn’t respond like this on our wedding day but he did before he died. When I got married, I almost cried when I saw the guests stood up when I was entering the church. One of the guests gave me a tissue. I, then heard one of the ladies say: "Bernard needs a tissue too!" I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked up and saw my husband crying! I got so emotional I ended up looking down all the way to the altar. Everytime I tried to look up, I kept seeing him cry and then I felt like crying too. Seeing him cry was so emotional.
