My boyfriend just went off to Basic a few weeks ago. The whole family plus friends showed up to see him off. His buddy that was being shipped out with him didn't have anyone there sending him off. My boyfriend is going to be a weaponry engineer (i.e. more than likely gonna be fine). His buddy is infantry.

So glad for the ones that came home . Wars suck and are useless. So many lives , so many families filled with joy and so many families filled with hurt. Thanks to all that served , living and passed on.This video was moving as I teared up all the way through it. God bless America !

From home. To heal they must ask for forgiveness. MANY CHILDREN AND WOMEN FROM THE REST OF THE WORLD WILL NEVER SEE THEIR PARENTS RETURN, THESE KILLED THEM IN A WAR THOSE PARENTS DID NOT LOOK FOR. I was fortunate to have a surprise like this happen to me. it was when my Brother return from Vietnam. It was a surprise to us because we thought he had reenlist for 6 more months in Vietnam after he served his year. But he came home first before going back. I was playing ice hockey in high school and they but him in as a goalie. I did a slap shot against him and he was saying I didnt score and I went over to argue with him and then ----wham, he took off the mask and like -- what can I say -- wow. My sister was a cheerleader and she came slipping and sliding on the ice to get to him. Never forget. And please, also never forget the ones that did not make it. The true Heroes.

If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, hit the gym, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well! ❤
