I remember when I was six and my dad went on a ten month deployment, I still remember him getting back. The tears of nostalgia that brought....

To my navy father: thank you for sacrificing so much for us and this country. Thank you for inspiring me. Thank you for working so hard. Thank you for being the best dad ever. I remember coming home after being deployed to Iraq back in 2019-2020, surprising my mom was one of the most fond memories I will ever have. She's no longer here and now that I am stationed in South Korea and having no one to go home to feels different. Wish she was here to see what I have done this far and just talk to her.

These make me so emotional. My oldest son’s goal was always to be a soldier. He’s been gone in the Army for almost three years now (next month) and has only been home twice. I’m so proud of my combat medic and thankful that he surprised me for Christmas two years ago with my own coming home video. He hasn’t been home for the holidays since then. Me, my husband and our three sons and daughter at home are missing him so much it hurts, but we’re so proud of him. God bless our heroes past and present. ♥️🙏🏼🇺🇸💙

3:20 that one got me the most, that kid was disabled. He tried so hard just to hug his dad. Oh my god I didn’t realize how he was walking until the moment he was about to be picked up by his dad. That’s incredible and so emotional.

when i was in 1st grade, my school was having a career day, and i was kinda pissed that my dad couldn't come back because he was on deployment. at the very last one my teacher made me go in the front of the line, which confused me. we walked into the room, and i just started crying when i saw my dad. one of the happiest and most reassuring moments of my life. When I was two my father was on a deployment for sic months, we had just moved to Hawaii and don't have base housing yet so we were living in the navy lodge. Me, my mom and my brother for six months. I still thank my mother for holding us together through that time. My brother was 4.

It is so great to see children seeing there parents come home safely from the battlefield. Those parents are heroes. R.I.P to those who didn't arrive home, they are also heroes to be honoured.

My dad was a British soldier, I’m still waiting for my surprise from my dad, he never made it home, I’ve always hoped it was all a terrible lie. It’s been 36 years and I’m still hoping it’s not true and I’ll get to hug and smell him again🙏

I had the honor of being a part of a surprise soldier return. I worked at a beach park and the soldier returned home without telling his girlfriend and wanted to surprise and propose to her. He had everything planned out and had his friends bring her and showed her around. Then the soldier appeared and proposed right there. She was so happy that she jumped into his arms and said yes. It was an honor for me to witness it and I told him how much of an honor it was. I’ll never forget that day.

It was my honor to be a witness to homecomings like this for 20 years during my spouse's military career. The joy these kids feel at seeing their parent is home safe and sound is indescribable.

I lost my father 11 yrs ago,but still i miss him desperately,i remember when i was a kid and how desperately i waited for him he is not a soldier but he works for family like every other fathers ,and now i am a father of a girl and i tried to give him such moments that she always remember.

I saw this video when I was 5 or 6 years old, I loved this video and I finally found it 😿💕

My father was also a part of Pakistan army and i can bet that soldiers are the best human beings and have a beautiful ❤️ not only for their family but for all humans.He is no more with us but i always have a smile with tears in my eyes whenever i got emotional for my father❤❤❤
