It's a tactic liberals typically employ. Only showing thumbs up figures hides what the populace really thinks. You have to be able to see both figures to establish what the popular vote is and this is why they hide it.

Well, years ago KZread also used to include the number of DISLIKES or thumbs DOWN votes they got but KZread stopped including the dislike figure in favor of only showing how many people "liked" people's posts. If you do away with one then you might as well get rid of BOTH because the number of LIKES/thumbs UP votes a comment receives is totally pointless unless you also include the DISLIKES/thumbs DOWN votes it got.

When this came out, we decided to see "can it really be THAT bad?" It was worse. It was so bad that we couldn't even make jokes about it to amuse ourselves. We were both disgusted and filed it under "time we'll never get back". So we put on Chappelle's special that was causing outrage at the time and THAT was comedy gold. We still quote its jokes to this day. Especially the Jussie Smollett bit.

Well the purpose was to get someone who didn't fit the natural body type associated with Barbie. In other words, to show young girls that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. That is the apparent intent, but it's going to be very telling once we find out who is playing "Ken". If they want their message to be taken seriously they would not hire some ripped actor to play Ken, but rather some pudgy guy who doesn't necessarily have "movie star" good looks. Like, a guy like Seth Rogen should be "Ken". Or a young Paul Giamatti lol.

ChestRockwell24 I agree all body builds can be attractive. However the thought that all body shapes can be attractive (at least to a large portion of the opposite sex) is just not true. That goes for men and women. If you take care of your body chances are a good portion of people will find you beautiful; if your obese the human brain is programmed to see you as not desirable to reproduce with. Who wants a partner that can't take care of the kids because they can't even take care of themself. Your points on Ken btw are spot on.

The thing about shock humor is, when you use it and it shocks you, it elicits a reaction from the viewer. If your whole 1 hour routine is the same shock given throughout the whole hour, the viewer is no longer shocked as they are no longer surprised. The result being "not funny". I feel like those people in the audience felt like they needed to laugh, due to some weird moral obligation.
