45:03 Thanks for intentionally blundering to make it an exciting game, and teach us how to recover Nelson :)
Nelson: coughing and blundering a rook Also Nelson: win with a beautiful checkmate Get well soon, Nelson!
Nelson was clearly exhausted - even a duffer like me saw the rook blunder.

Even grandmasters make the occasional horrible, easy to see blunder. Humans...
Nelson, I'm sure it was painful for you, but content-wise, the rook blunder was great.

that was crazy
And he sacrificed(blundered) the roooook 45:03
Hi Peter. I love your approach. The way you explain your thinking. The way you're not afraid to show your emotion at a blunder. It's very human. I'm returning to chess after 40 years or more, and you are helping me to get back inside of the mystery that is chess. Thanks.
That last win is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Not sure how you survived that.

The opponent gave away a rook for a pawn then hung mate in one. So crazy

can someone check the evo meter for that
The way you discuss a position like you do for the one around 4:10 is why I i love this channel. It really helps me to see how someone much stronger than me thinks and you explain your reasoning so clearly. Good stuff Nelson.

yeah that was super instructive and in the analysis showed that Qd4 was the move for White to make. This was super instructive which was finding your opponent's strongest moves. I at best find move my opponent can make but almost never find their strongest move. Awesome lesson here.
This is so educational when you get in such wacky positions and describe how to work your way out. Thanks Nelson!
I love the timing of the rook's demise right at the start of the word "blunder"
46:53: “You can’t just give away rocks like that.” Nelson 2023
You almost lost to a Filipino. Proud Filipino here. 😄 Love watching the series' rating climb. Thanks
According to Stockfish, the position before playing Be7 in that last game was actually still winning for white, despite being down a rook. The pawns can force black to sacrifice a rook in a few moves after Re1+, equalizing material, but white gets more active pieces and can pick up some free pawns.
51:22 that was crazy lol
Thanks for the rating climb vids Nelson! Very helpful because I get personalized vids for my elo
One of the cooler checkmates I've seen recently. I thought you traded off the Queen too early. It looked like you had AT LEAST one or two more free pawns with Queen forks (Qc4+) before that was necessary. And I liked your thought about the tempo check before completing the Bishop exchange but agree passing on it was better as it left him with an awkward and unprotected king.
Nelson blunders! He's human afterall! Great games, last one was a rough one but you showed us why to never resign!
I have a request. If happens that you lose, please don't mention it in the title. I like the feeling not knowing who will win :)
Wow that ending.
Wow, I really thought that was going to be your first loss!
Videos keeps getting better and better 😍
That last game was insane. I’m usually pretty harsh on judgement, but wow. That game was great
Last game was a rollercoaster! Cool to see it!
I like how the opponent did a blunder with the rook followed by the brilliant move with the same rook in the analysis
best come back!!!! way to go.
"I'm not expert against the Scotch..." Me neither, but Chivas sounds like a great idea ;)
Awesome commentary 😊
"Let's take everything I guess. Take Everything." Greatest moment lol. 😅
I love to watch these videos.a lot to learn sir
I am learning how to play and scaling with you thank you and stick with it
The expression on your face before the rook was captured 😂. The checkmate was nice though! Too much ginger.
Best teacher out there, well done
You made up for that blunder with a beautiful checkmate
As always great content
54:20 Be7might be a more practical way to bait your opponent, since it gives up a "free" bishop. But if he takes, you can play f6 to gain a tempo, followed by f7 and g7 and you'll get a queen

You'd lose 2 pawns and Bishop for opponents rook
Nice recovery from a blunder. The streak continues.
I nerded out so bad at the end!
45:00 when you were talking about pushing the pawn, I said, "don't push or you'll lose the Rook" But unfortunately you pushed it two months ago 😄
His king's little steps save your day😆😆
I enjoy that so much. Thanks so much. And God bless
Best feeling ever man...
I seen the rook blunder as soon as you mentioned pushing the pawn😂
Nelsi The clutch comebacker ‼️🐐
In the back of your mind you thought the Rook was defended. A few seconds of panic and then you composed yourself nicely.
Amazing checkmate
Hey, it was so close, the 154th win was great! 👌
The last one should be guess the elo😂😂.
"Now what I've done is.. Ohhhhhhhh" lol
I wish I play like this. But watching these content is like watching thriller movie except this gives more thrilling. Loving this content
Yes you were lucky. I was crying out for you to continue pushing the pawns forward on the right of the board. Anyway nice ending 😊
Last game b5 was what I thought pawn takes you take w N and check? But I was wrong too I guess
As a 1300, I was sure the last guy was gonna blunder lol.
Whenever I see an opportunity to take the G file or B files pawns, I tend to think of it as some sort of poisoned pawn
At 18:25 you could have trapped his queen by moving your white bishop to g4

40:20 Can white win to pawn, Qc4+ and Qxc7.
send your last game to Levy! that was too funny at the end
YEAAAAAH CHECK FOR NO REASON!
Random Question, do you lift bro?
Shoulda pushed the pawn to protect the rook first. But as they say, hindsight is an exact science.
More tilting game Starting elo: 800 Current elo: 100 Wins: 27 Draws: 1 Losses: 53
47:34 Can you go Bg3+, force the K to block the bishop, and just push the f pawn?

Oh, that's discussed later on.
I miss a lot in chess, but I did see your blunder in advance! But nice checkmate.
awesome crazy games :D like
These 1400s always make mistakes
Crazy
That is what happens when you keep chanting "I have two pawns" all the time 😂
Am i watching the most suspense thriller?
bros the thinker
Lucky lucky lucky
You did a me move 😂😁
I yelled at my tv
What’s your Federating???
Play Blackburne-Shilling Gambit against Italian pls
Rook blunder game, at the end, shouted STOLEN 😅 Oops! He who blunders last loses!
Epic
Please take a couple of days off until you're back to 100% We don't want you to start dropping random games because you're sick or tired
49.46 find the mate
after watching your video on that trap that is how i play when they go for the fried liver in the beggining. It's super easy to remember compared to the traxler and gets you a faster mate and/or an easier queen depending on how your opponent plays it.
I have never shouted at the screen so loud.
This needs a spoiler shield 🛡 alert
7:36 Nelson you forgot something. Rh1 Bg4 Qxf7+ Kxf7 Rxh2 white win a pawn
We make boo-boos it's very important to learn how to deal with the inevitable blunder. ❤
Im here for chess and for your handsomeness 😂
you did not play 151 games why does it say that,,,,, i watched the hole siries and you played 50-90 games maybe ! why does it say 151 games played
was👌👌👌💐👌
Nelson- Love your videos. Suggestion, while you think, you say “um” a lot. Likely not distracting to most but still noticeable.
HA; HA; HA Super

Noob player
Why are you lying to the people you do have loses and draws
Wow Nelson is human what do you know we all definitely had blunders like that before but way to hang in there and keep on fighting 🤺 🤺 🤺 for checkmate on the last game
I swear I have been waiting to catch you in a random game on your climb! 😂 The guys you play make so many inaccuracies and blunders it’s ridiculous 🙄 But your rating now is 1966 so I’m waaaay behind 😅😅😅 I’m only 1525🤌
