My VIM carbide scraper got dropped and cracked. I asked my Cornwell guy for a replacement and got the big and small set cheaper in a Lisle package. Who could live without Lisle’s Tap sockets? The Oil Filter Wrenches and Pliers, the Brake Bleeder wrench, fuse socket cleaners, all MUST HAVE tools for any mechanic and all AFFORDABLE! Lisle is probably my favorite company to deal with!

@@CPthetooladdict didn’t even try when I found out the same tool from Lisle was that much cheaper. Not knocking VIM intentionally here just praising Lisle for putting tools in the hands of mechanics without drawing blood or requiring years of servitude

I have that bearing packer. Anyone that says " just pack the bearing by hand" isn't working on hay wagons , generator and pump trailers. Skid steer trailers and such regularly. That thing is handier than insulated bib overalls with zipper legs.

I like that bearing packer for the trailer

I bought my lisle swivel grip set years ago, and I’m glad I did. Man has the price jumped since 2015. I paid $7 for each one

Lisle is great stuff.their filter wrenches are and have always been winners.

Just fill that Lisle bearing packer with some RedLine CV2 grease and carry on living my life. Never have failures!

Hey Chad, ever thought of doing repair videos. Maybe a mini series. I think there is a need for a video series on repairs tips. I watch a ton of repair videos and there are lots of good ones that hit all the main points. However, they often miss the fine details. Me being a building maintenance person, HVAC, boilers and commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. I know that the success of a repair is in the fine details.

I still have my old lisle bearing packer bought in 1974 think it was one the best designs. Put grease gun to end and pump bearings full .

That grip is a trip! I have used one of those with the name of Blue Point on them for the last 4 years, changing oil and fuel filters on Cummins ISX motors. They have been great.

100% the same 125 for a blue point set under 50 for the the same thing from lisle lol

I still got my old bearing packer from 20+ years ago from Lisle . Slightly different look but still works

When Sears was around, Lisle made the filter wrenches for Craftsman. I have a few along with the Lisle filter wrenches.

Love my lisle filter wrenches. I picked up the 6.7 cummins filter plug as well and that's an absolute game changer for anyone servicing ram trucks

Glad I didn’t get too attached to my tool truck dealers. I will buy from them time to time but I can’t justify spending so much when the price and quality is so good elsewhere.

Need some oil filters. And of course SO shows up then. Bought the blue point set. Through. The box in the trash. Then found the whole makes them. Great oil wrenches 🔧 .

Those are my go to filter tool since I been in the business..did get a new set a few years back from an S truck..I threw the holder away , seemed like a pain..mine hang on screws , handy for the grabbing..still got the bearing packer..not much packing anymore but still occasionally..I have done enough of them in my time 😂..Great stuff Buddy..💪

I have some lisle filter pliers. (Matco rebranded them) and I like them!

Perfect update and explanation. Like others I do use me the "handy packer" sometimes need to give extra love and attention to those smaller rollers making sure they are properly packed.

Lisle tools are one of my favorite companies oil filter wrench best one hands down and just got there serpentine belt tool kit aswell great tools from them the tool truck rebrand there tools and put there name on it but it is made by lisle great video

I have never seen that type of fillter wrench i will definitely be getting them in some of the equipment i work on filters are in okwerd places and slip this is exactly what I need and last night while I was packing bearings i broke my old kolbolt packer looks just like the lisle i will be getting one of them to the only difference between you and my tool truk is you save me money thanks brother

I have a cool new ratchet for you. I bought Tekton 1/4” drive 9” straight handle and replaced the head with there 3/8 small body. Makes a very small unit.

I checked the Mac website and your pliers are back in stock now. Those are way better than the ones I have with more adjustment.

I know a lady who's husband invented a tool and took it to Lisle tools to see if they were interested in making it. They told him that it would be uneconomic to make it. They sent him away, then they made it, and made millions from it. That is why I will never buy ANY of their products.

Them lisle swivel grip filter wrenches are tits. I use the big one on cat 657g oil filters, and they will grip. Awesome tools when maintenance guys over tight them. If 90% of matcos catalog is lisle, lisle is doing doing right
