Never get tired of seeing more Eagle Grips. Amazing it’s the second Spring since the plant closing and they’re still out there. HIGHLY doubt they will be around for a third so if you don’t have them yet drop what you’re doing and order them from HJE

It was me, i messaged you on the IG. Malco made 10 different models. Slim, curved straight in 7”&10”, 2 versions of 10” & 8” clamps totaling 10. I got them all!

Do you find the slim ones to be not as good of quality as the rest of the bunch? I’m kinda disappointed in those. (I too have them all)

They had a crate of those at the discount store a few years ago but they were the original black oxide ones. I picked up a complete set of them for 25$. Crescent were pretty decent in their heyday

I bought a 10" and a 12" USA Crecent wrench from cripes distributing a year ago. Got them for dirt cheap. Have treated me well for the few times I've used them. Bought them more so for my tool collection than to actually use. LOL

Crescent and Malco are very good quality tools but as far as crescent wrenches and visegrips, there is still plenty vintage ones available at yard sales and seapmeets. i just dont see the point in paying $29 when i can pay $5 for a original, USA made visegrip. Ive been collect vise grips and crescent wrenches for more than a decade. I have very good vintage ones and i still find them today. Anyway, these two particular types of tools are where i stand on that, but wrenches, scredrivers, and pliers are another matter because they have evolved and are much better than the older stuff in many cases.

Hey CP. I tune in frequently and I love your video. It’s to where when I’m watching them I can hear my kids saying Cp the tool addict down the hall. They know I’m watching your videos. But I get too into them that I forget to hit that like button or leave a comment. So here I am now doing my part as a follower. Keep up the good work. I love tools and have a very nice collection that I’ll pass down to my sons and possibly daughter if she’s into that. I’m a diy’er mechanic. Left the shop life back in 2018 for the welder life. But it’s all good and I’ll stay tuned.

Thanks I've seen a few pairs I didn't have the snap on 5 inch are 80 bucks a peice and can't find any thin pairs shorty before they called quits malco contacted me I've told them to drop price and get them in Lowe's home Depot and Menards and also come out the small ones as well glad to own top quality pairs I'll never treat like a red headed stepchild lots of people did to original vice grips abuse is delegate to the rice grips only

Great score from HJE, I love ordering from them. I've never bought enough to get my order in a box so I could specify the box art, but from what I've seen you can get some pretty cool stuff hand drawn on the package. Personally I feel that the last of the US made Crescent adjustables weren't as good as the Western forge Adjustables, but they were still much better than the current imports. I don't know about the adjustable wrenches, but the Sears brand Japanese combo wrenches from the 70's-80's were made by KTC. I have a set of 70's era Fuller adjustables from my grandfather that look to be the same OEM as yours and they are definitely high quality.

Very nice haul. Seriously looking fwd to the universal socket video, hoping u cover tool truck and quality non truck brands. But I would love to see a video about quality semi deep sockets (chrome and impact) that aren't just tool truck brands. I've grabbed the Capri 3/8" impact rated 8-24mm set n been happy but I have been trying to find a nice affordable chrome 1/4" n 3/8" set besides Gearwrench. Not a big fan of GW. Affordable- yes, quality - heard some not so great reviews about the chrome job and sizing inconsistency. Wish I had a truck to build a relationship with as I could probably find a better price than Snap On mail-order or eBay, etc ..

The size markings are nice to figure out what exact sizes you need when working on equipment that has sae and metric sizes used all over like most American made stuff in the 90s and early 2000s. Use the Cresent to find sizes so you don't have to drag out half of your toolbox and loose wrenches/sockets.

You know CP I miss the days when you could buy a tool for $30 and it would last you 20 to 30 years nowadays people are like why buy $30 to when I can get the same tool for $12 and if it breaks I'll just buy another one and then they buying eight of them for 12 bucks, I say yeah well who's really coming out on top there, you tell me CP I miss the days when you could buy a really nice tool and it would last you decades and sell these old guys and they still have tools from 50 years ago so that they hard used everyday for years no problems that's why I buy quality cuz I only want to buy the tool once...

Was really glad to see the enthusiasm in this video. You had a lot of great talking points and I’m glad you discussed at the end about the change in marketing strategies. I like the old-school USA quality that these American made manufacturers have, but it’s time that Craftsman and tradesmen to start having these conversations with, the younger tech savvy crowd when it comes to marketing because you’re right their product will fall by the wayside if they don’t change it up the newer generation tradesmen does everything digital and they are constantly streaming on their phones every second that they’re not working and when they are, nobody looks at a paperback catalog or even goes out of their way for a company website The companies really need to start bringing the product to the consumer through streaming and through people like you CP that are very dedicated again great video
