Lisa Kudrow finds a relative she thought was long dead!

Back in her hotel room, Lisa turns to Ancestry.com for information on Yuri. She finds a Boleslaw from Gdynia, Poland, who was on the same ship that Yuri was said to have arrived on. Are they the same person? Lisa sees Boleslaw’s registration card, learns his wife’s name and his son’s name - she’s sure now that he’s Yuri.

For those confused by the beginning that was something called a phone book. 😅

I remember when this was first broadcast! In part because I had a screen crush on Phoebe but mostly because Lisa's journey into her ancestry had so much in it that struck straight to the heart.
So amazing she found. Bolesław. hope he can give het more information about what happened all those years ago
I would have loved it if Boleslaw had watched Friends and recognized her as Phoebe. "I mostly have crush on Rachel, but you are okay, too."

My opinion on which of Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel was the best was subject to change week by week. I think Lisa Kudrow has aged the best out of the 3.

Lovely outcome, but the why would a pole answer a phone in Poland in English? It’s a small point as I prefer spontaneous reactions to this type of programme

Hello/Halo is fairly universal in Europe. The use of 'hello' was suggested by Edison as a suitable greeting on the connection of a telephone call. (Alexander Graham Bell had suggested 'ahoy' but it didn't catch on!).

He said "Halo?" We usually answer calls like this in Poland, so in my opinion that was an authentic reaction.
