Brooke Shields investigates her grandmother's past!

Ойын-сауық

Growing up, Brooke had always felt her maternal grandmother, Theresa, has been “awful” to Brooke’s mother. But why? Returning to the town where Theresa grew up, Brooke discovers through a birth record that Theresa had two brothers whom Brooke had never heard about. But it’s in death certificates that she finds the reason: they both died young, one as an infant, the other at age 13.

Mean bitter people usually become that way out of tragedy or neglect. Doesn't make what they do acceptable but you understand.

Brooke's grandmother would have been 15 when her brother Edward died. She was probably working fulltime or at school herself, while her two younger siblings were at school. Hopefully she didn't take her brother's death on as guilt.

Its odd isn’t it the divide or difference we assume regards our ancestors, our Grandparent's seem so close, we either grew up knowing them or hearing stories of them and yet the reality is 1914 was a different World.

My maternal grandmother had 7 siblings 6 sisters and 1 brother. But I found out there another sister and another brother who died as infants. Same with my paternal grandmother she had 6 sisters and 2 brothers. But also found there was another sister and brother who died as infants.

BROOKE SHIELDS... Actress... For those complaining why some things have nothing to do with Newark. It's a way to memorize. Here is memory I saw on TV.. What does Brooke Shields have to do with Newark? I watched Blue Lagoon in Newark. But, here is a NEWARK FACT... BET YOU DID NOT KNOW ANOTHER REASON?... DO YOU LIKE TRIVIA TOO? FUN TOPIC: I once saw a 20/20 broadcast about Brooke Shields and the reporter indicated her grandmother, Theresa Dollinger (b1908) 169 Ferry Street (Easy Pickens) and siblings were born/lived in Ironbound and great grandma (Ida) died at 295 New Street (d1919.. (Theresa was grandma) It clicked that Great grandma (Ida) lived down the street from me. (I remember when I was a child a few buildings existed there just below Norfolk Street but demolished.) I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS VIDEO FOR OVER A YEAR... Great uncle John (b1910 d1910) 262 Central Ave, great uncle Edward (b1912) 283 Ferry Street, and 148 1/2 Ferry Street Great Aunt Lillian (b.1915)

Ok this is a crazy comment….or question but does anyone know where you can find that beautiful pink ruffled blouse she is wearing? It’s beautiful! She should sell her own clothing line! Would love to know if anyone knows where to get that pink blouse!

I am related to Louie the XVI of France as proven by a marker on my Y chromosome. Brooke Shields and I are distant cousins. "WE" are also related to Marie Antonette, the wife (and second cousin from Austria) of King Louie the XVI of France.
