LIONS Devour BUFFALO in FEEDING FRENZY
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
MalaMala Safari Moments: Episode 82.
We found the Nkuhuma pride and Northern Avoca males moments after they brought down a buffalo near Mlowathi Dam, at midday! The feeding frenzy that ensued went on for 6 hours... nonstop!
...
From MalaMala Game Reserve to wherever you are in the world, we'll bring you moments from our daily safaris in one of Africa's most iconic private game reserves. This is essentially a continuation of our 'Rangers in Isolation' series which was filmed during the national Lockdown.

@@nadineireland3361 definitely! I don’t remember if this is the Nkuhuma pride but they sure eat like them! The Nkuhumas always blow me away with how ferocious they are around the dinner table, just like these guys. I mean they are literally fighting INSIDE A DEAD BUFFALO! How much crazier does it get?! Edit: Okay I stopped being lazy and rewound to the beginning and it is the Nkuhumas LOL. No surprise there. I can’t speak for combat but when it comes to food the Nkuhumas are noticeably the most hardcore lion pride I have seen. It doesn’t matter if you’re a male, a lioness, a subadult, or a cub in the Nkuhuma pride, you have to be willing to fight HARD for your spot at the dinner table. If anyone can name a more intense pride than the Nkuhumas I would LOVE to see video of them.

That's what makes them special. At young age, they know what they are and are already unafraid. I've seen 4 month old lion cubs hissing and throwing punches at the dominant lioness who was part of the rival pride before getting killed.
6 male sub adults? Oh wow, Blondie, Mohawk, and the lionesses did a fantastic job at raising the Cubs. If they stick together they’ll be unstoppable.
11:25 ferocious.
Thanks very much for posting this great footage. I agree with the comments here on how the video footage above is something else, amazing. Have never seen anything so intense. That above is a mixture of a minefield, live wires and St. Valentines Day with a little too many thorns on the roses. Love the way all the lions in the pride are so on edge with each other, yet so at ease with each other, sort of like water and fire dancing together. Regards, Michael M. Kamau, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, 16th March 2024.
It's always thrilling to watch a family of lions feed and then fight each other for a better spot, specially when there is nearly nothing left but a carcass. 🤣
