Linear Actuator With Servo From Kitronik

Ғылым және технология

Our new Linear Actuator converts the circular movement of a 180-degree servo (supplied) into motion in a straight line, one way and then the other. It can be mounted to a project to provide either horizontal or vertical movement.
This is ideal for use within your #Arduino, #RaspberryPi, or #microbit #robotics projects.

Please supply various lengths as one can secure it on plywood and make a automatic door in a cabinet which will be a cool project using BBC Micro Bit......🤣🤣👍👍

Hi, sorry we only have it available as shown. We may add an option in the future for just ordering the laser-cut parts. I will ask the team. I'm sorry I couldn't help you more.

@@kitronik Do you have one that can carry more weight, or is it possible to multiply it's capacity by buying two?

@@kr3539 Hi and thanks for your question. They are not designed for heavy lifting and while using more than one would mean they could handle a little more weight, we wouldn't advise using this product for bearing heavy loads.

How would I go about making this go up and down continuously. Would I need to program a arduino?

Or is there a way to constantly switch the polarity on the motor st high speed.

@@jackomahoney75 The actuator is driven by a servo that is controlled using pulse width modulation (PWM), anything that can output a PWM signal that you can control can be used. Arduino and micro:bit are ideal for this.

Hi, We sell it from this page kitronik.co.uk/products/2595-linear-actuator Just below the add to cart button is a drop-down menu that allows you to select your country from the list and this will display all of the suppliers based in that country. If a country is not listed, it may be that neighbouring countries will ship to the missing country. I hope this answers your question.

Hi. Here is some useful information, including code, for driving a servo with PWM that is Arduino specific. I hope this helps; dronebotworkshop.com/servo-motors-with-arduino/
