    Hi, this information is not available from the manufacturers as they express speed for pumps in flow rate. These pumps have a flow rate of 1 - 3L/min, depending on the supply voltage. I hope this helps.

    Howdy, Brother! What resistor should I use if I have a yellow 10mm LED Emitting Diode (1.8-2.2V) powered by two AA Batteries? I will have an on/off switch in the loop. Will 47 ohms work? i tried 100 ohm resistor but the batteries were getting hot. I'm not even sure if I asked the question properly . Thanks for any assistance.

    Hi, and thanks for the question. If it's a standard LED then 47 ohms should be perfect for the job. We have a pretty cool calculator on our website that can be used for this. Select the LED you have from the dropdown list and then use the button to pull through the details. Add your supply voltage and then hit the calculate button. @kitronikАй бұрын

    Hi and thanks for the question, All of the pins of the Pico that are not in use for the motor/servo connectors are broken out, 27 connections in total. They can be used to drive additional external devices such as sensors or ZIP LEDs. The breakouts are in the form of solder pads, located underneath where the an inserted Pico will sit and they can be soldered to. The pads have a direct connection to an inserted Pico and can therefore be used in exactly the same way as the headers soldered to the Pico. I hope this helps.

  • @kitronik

    Hi, although the pump can move air it is not rated as a vacuum pump. The only way to know for sure is to test it but we would be inclined to go for a pump specifically designed for this purpose. Probable outcomes of using this pump are likely to be unsatisfactory and may result in damage to the pump.

I took one movement out of the package, but the manual with it was very short. Only some hazy pictures or drawings. Your video gives me the courage to give it a try tomorrow. Assembly of all types of movements seems to be more or less the same. Every (first-hand = new) has a second hand mounted as the third (last) hand, I guess.

    I don’t have one yet, neither a micro bit (it’s coming tomorrow), but I want to ask a question about this because I’m considering getting some. Are you able to activate/deactivate individual leds? I’m using Microsoft make code for it, if there’s not support for that in Microsoft make code is there any other softwares I can use to do that? Also for example I would want to place a green led at x3 y7.

  • @kitronik
    @kitronik4 ай бұрын

    Hi, each LED is individually addressable with code. You can turn each on, and off, and change each LEDs colour independently of the others. MakeCode has blocks for these types of LEDs under the Neopixel menu but we have also produced some custom blocks for this LED panel that you can add to the editor. These custom blocks serve to simplify writing code for the tiles as much as is possible. In the editor; click on the cog icon in the top right and select extensions. This opens up a page with a search bar. Type and enter Kitronik and a list of all of our custom extensions will appear. Find the extension for kitronik-zip-tile, and click on it. The new menu should now appear in the editor with some new purpose-made blocks inside. I hope this helps.
