Me too the reason this phone is $1,000 with two 6.8 inch screens is because they are full HD the v40 was almost a g because it has a 6.4 inch Quad HD screen I'm Quad HD looks way better I can't upgrade my phone and downgrade my display that's not ever going to happen if LG doesn't bring Quad HD back I'm going to be forced to go and buy a Sony Xperia Mark II.. edit see the 1080 display in person and it changed my mind I am now the proud owner of a V60 the v40 display is still a little bit better but you don't really notice it plus this thing is gorgeous

@@racea.t6531 Upgraded to a V60 from a V30 and to be completely honest I dont see a MAJOR difference between my V30 in QHD and the V60 in FHD+ but both are great phones still got my V30 its gonna be my backup video camera phone from here on out! Enjoy the V40!!!

I'll take LG over Samsung and Apple any day of the week needless to say get woke go broke

Happy to see that you are one that mentioning the benefits for traders in lg v60

Quad DAC and dual screen real estate for less than $1,000 bucks. Many more features which were crammed inside this phone. You can't complain about it.

Actually, T-Mobile mobile has more 5G availability than all others combined. It's just mostly low band so the speed isn't there yet. Maybe 20 to 40 percent increase in certain markets. BUT, once they deploy Sprint's mid-band they're acquiring from the Sprint merger, it's going to REALLY eclipse what Verizon and AT&T have.

I just got mine yesterday. While it felt good to have an LG phone again, I'm sad to see some things missing from the older V series models in favor of a more streamlined camera approach. No smooth zoom. No cine log modes. No 4k60 from the ultrawide. And one of my biggest gripes is they took away the quick camera lens toggle to go straight from wide to ultrawide. So now you have to cycle from 1x to 2x to get to 0.5x and that is annoying or hold down on the 1x toggle and manually slide to ultrawide. I love that they have improved the front facing camera by leaps and bounds though from the V30. The dual screen is pretty dope too. And you do get 4k60 from the front which is nice.

4 mics for video recording. The jack with the DAC, 32bit, I luv that. A ji-gun-da phone, for movies & video consumption, excellent. Two screens, to me that's very 😎. 8oo.oo bucks, what the hell is not to like? Has LG hit a homerun, quite possibly! I think it's an excellent 👌 📱!

Although I have the Note 10 plus 5G I really like this LG V60 phone . Bought it on Mother's day for my wife. I liked it so much that I bought one for me also. 😆👍

I just got this phone finally upgraded my v40 I was worried about the 1080 display not being all that great but it blows my mind I'm so glad I got the V60 it's an absolute Beast and the best phone of 2020

remember how back in the Froyo in gingerbread days, custom roms and mods was so fun to play with, now days the FUN is just gone. Thanks for the vids. U and DroidmodderX made android fun. Alphabet destroyed everything.

you really love LG

LG is making moves. LG made the V60 as their flagship and the G9 coming soon going to be the mid-range phone. They need to market both phones and get some of market share .

I have s10, but have some little bugs like gps not locking in, my lte signals not working (so had to network reset), and not to mention that it has mediocre battery life( I mean I chose the standard model so that's mee). But still, I think when i was with LG V30, i never had such issues. thinking about going to jump ships to LG again. I mean LG rarely updates their phones, who care about updates if it going to make your phone buggy. I would rather have phone run smooth and get quarterly security patches and one update to the next android version then monthly security patches and updates ( samsung has been good with updates as of late at least starting with s10). Anyhow thanks Max for the good videos. V60 looks good so far

Can V60 shoot Portrait Video just like Live focus video on the galaxy s20? Please let me know cause i really need that features

Hej Max thanks for the video LG V60 ThinQ 5G is a very interesting mobile phone I must say. I think th LG V60 looks much nicer too than the Samsung S20 but it is the inside that counts. I had a one LG G4 back in 2015 and I really liked that mobile. It will be very interesting to see your tests of the LG V60 ThinQ 5G and especially the cameras. I hope you get the xiaomi mi 10 pro soon and do comparisons and camera shoot outs. Been torn between getting that or the v60. Maybe I'll end up getting both.

Definitely getting this phone,hits every mark that I'm looking for and even better than my Note 9. Never thought I'd ever say that. Note 9's sound quality/volume ain't as great as this phone's.

It's a great device, just purchased one straight from Sprint/T-mobile for 800 dollars. Compared with what Samsung charges for pretty much the same hardware it's safe to say LG is the choice to go. You don't notice the screen resolution difference. You get the new silicon, and you get a second screen.

MAXXX!The question is if one screen glass goes, do you have to replace them both & do you have A split screen caoability within each screen to have 4 screens. Love!!! the headphone jack. But you can see the difference clearly between Samsung and LG pixels. But love LG bigger size/more room. And can you replace the batteries. Is the LG using screws on the back or is it adhesives. And what does LG mean? Does it come with it's own headphone jack & key to pop out SD expansion with memory?🤔🤔🤔😎

I like the focus of the cameras with all the other things, kudos 4 d LG. Samsungs finishing is 👎👎👎 that sound when you shake the phone is weird and the PRICES.

I believe if you swipe the full screen keyboard apart it will split like on the iPad so you can type whilst holding it a bit better

It would be nice if the developers could get into the V60 bootloader I can see some amazing work with that dual screen

Do you think VPN is nessary when downloading from BitTorrent?

Looking at all 3 screens n u can't tell which one is 1080p or quad. If u never seen the specs u would think that they was all quad

Worthy upgrade but we don't need to yet.

I noticed that when record a video in 4k or FHD that there is only one button for the main camera and the wideangle camera (one button for 0.5x, 1x and 2x zoom). If true, that will be a disapointment by filming! On my LG G6 i have two Buttons - one for the main camera 1.0x - and a zoom slider) and another one for the wideangle camera (0.5x and a zoom slider) so i can switch and slide while filming.

Is there a scheduling text message on the stock app?

The first LG I would consider buying? Bootloops on my G3 & V10. Hopefully those days are gone. I swore them off many moons ago but I like the V60?

The fourth mic is in the camera bay.

Not for sale? Is this a free sample? Do you have to return the phone?

Once my current phone dies ,,,, V60 will be my next phone for sure ......coz I want a high-end mobile with headphone jack .....and the price will also drop as time passes by :)

I’d rather have a good camera with a camera hump than an average camera with no camera hump. I always use a case anyway so the camera jumps aren’t really in my way. Everyone should use a case in my opinion. Devices worth around 1 000 USD (sometime even more) which are made of glass and aluminium should be protected!

my hubby just got the LG V60 ThinQ duel screen phone it's a great phone and everything but the only problem is were not able to upgrade Google Chrome and the security is giving him a message to fix the problem by updating the google chrome because his phone is vulnerable but it's not allowing us to. Plus since the app is pre-installed we can't uninstall we can only disable but even when you disable it, it still gives us a message in the security. We read some of the comments for the app and a lot of people in the comments are saying there's a problem with the app. Is anyone else having this problem?

Idk i have the g8x and the cameras are lacking in several aspects. If i knew this was coming out I would've waited. So for at least all the camera upgrades it definitely is.

2 issues that keep me from going back to LG. 1. Sotware update policy or lack thereof. 2. Hate their UI and inability to make changes to the overall look.

The major issue with the dual case is the front panel ,made of glass ( No protection)!. I know! I dropped my phone from 3 feet and shattered the glass!. I Contacted Lg, I Discussed the issue with my phone, and Lg stated they didn’t design a screen saver for the case!Really!. By the way you can buy the replacement case for $199.00, on the Lg web site, How convenient!!!!!

Bigger disadvantage is the car holder. 🤬

Still using G8X, still living the dual screen aspect, but the software is crap! Too many bugs, still Android 9, still January update. And the front facing camera without GCAM is total bs!

LG doing great with their products but they not doing marketing or create hype like Samsung and apple..but product and innovation is far better than Samsung or apple

This BS LG and Verizon have going on makes me want to switch carriers. You tell me I preorder my phone today, get it by the second, but I have to then go on LG's promotional site to claim my dual screen case and then wait a month. Isn't the whole point about this phone the dual screen why?!?! Why should I have to wait a month to show it off (Social distance of course) when I can walk into T-Mobile buy the phone and the case walkout all set. I'm not sure if it's like that at AT&T but I already have to spend the most for the phone through Verizon and wait a month before I can complete my purchase. First world problems I know but damn Verizon and LG get it together

Are you getting the second screen for free as part of a promotion? That might be why. I went the same thing when i got my g8x with sprint and had to wait 6 weeks or so for my 2nd screen to come in

The phone is beautiful but LG's marketing strategy is garbage and the fact they don't have an unlocked version is terrible
