Keep in mind that everyone approaches reviews from different perspectives. If all you're doing is comparing the specs, the V60 comes up short. For me, price is a very important factor to consider. When taking that into account, LG delivered an amazing phone.

@@eleazargarza8841 imo, Face ID probably the best. Rear fingerprint is one of the best for when you are picking up the phone, side mounted gets best of both worlds being convenient location and can use when on desk. In screen/home button sensor is accessible from any position but you have to do thumb gymnastics when picking up the phone.

The software isn't that bad when you compare it to what it has going on inside. It also has Note pen features that actually work with a capacitive pen similar to the Galaxy note... Did you know that? Reviewers are just finding it in the settings on the V60 and it works amazingly. So you can keep your Samsung with its high refresh rate, classy curved screen and the 12 MP zoom camera that actually doesn't work and switches back to the 64 mp camera to do the job...no different than what LG did with the V60 Facts. A professional photographer busted that myth, so that zoom lens is pretty much worthless. So yes... I'll take the V60 all day over the overly rated overly hyped Samsung S anything.

LG really needs to update their auto mode camera and video software, manual mode is tops though.

I'm really loving this phone. Got mine with the dual screen for a few scenarios. Lately I've been Duo calling and using the second screen for whatever while I'm on the call full screen. Its great. The battery life is insane. I prefer a flat screen over the gorgeous curved screen(not as practical) on my soon to be returned OnePlus 7 Pro. Wired audio using Audio Technica's MTX headphones. Its just something special about LG's DAC. Haven't got to test the camera like I want during the pandemic but so far its been great. The best manual mode for photos and video on any phone outside of the Sony Xperia series. Ordered my Bamboo stylus pen for additional use. Great review!

The loss of a telephoto lens isn't going to be an issue for most. Most phones favor crop zooming anyways for 2x zoom as opposed to the small telephoto sensor. Also I'm loving the display on this phone. My last 3 phones had QHD displays, and you cannot tell a difference unless you squint and bring your eyes uncomfortably close to the screen, which even then the pixels look ridiculously tiny.

Solid review. The launcher doesn't bother me as I've used Nova Launcher in all my phones for years. I got two phones in t-mobile for BOGO. It was a no-brainer for that price. So far biggest annoyance is the under screen fingerprint scanner. It's not really that it's slow, it's just awkward to use. I think it's the same in all big phones though. I prefer the fingerprint reader on the back. Since there's a notch I'd rather have a face unlock option back, but they took away those sensors from previous model. Even the basic face unlock is gone, though I think that's more of an Android 10 thing.

Love the head phone jack and especially the dual screen! Need a good night mode though. Optical zoom is a plus but not offered. The deal breaker is bloatware, so-so Ui, and limited choices for movie editing. Probably have to do iPhone again.

Very good in depth review. While other reviewers bash LG it's very refreshing to see a positive review. This is a very good phone & priced accordingly. 8oo.oo bucks ain't too shabby? A huge 🔋 with a 1080p display. We're talking 10+hrs SOT. How's about the jack with the 32bit DAC, an audiophile's dream phone? Sorry, this is a solid effort on LG'S part. No one else gives you a choice of a single or duel screen. Ok, my question, is the S20+ 4oo.oo bucks better, absolutely NO, I rest my case!

As a long time LG customer I wanted to get a v60 to replace my v30. T mobile only carries the dual screen version. I made a couple other calls to try to locate one. Finally bought a galaxy s21. If LG isn't going to advertise or work with dealers don't be surprised that sales aren't happening.

Decent phone but I have a S20 ultra also so my main Sim card will go back in a few days.

Nice and balanced review! I own a V50s (Korean version of G8x) and I love it! But yeah all in all LG makes great phones.

I got this device yesterday as a new work phone. It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles like my Note 10+ for $649 VS the $1025 my Note 10+ costs. I believe at $649 I got a good deal. Night shots are decent, music listening is perfect, I love the build, and I'm over 24 hours in on battery from 70% it came with out of the box. All of this and 5G capable which I'm on now.

But it's very quick and easy to do.
