One thing I respect about LG, regardless if it's a hit or miss, they still try to innovate and retain their playful and creative approach to device making. We need companies like these to keep things fresh and interesting. I will get me one of these for sure. And as always, TK's review is top notch and fair. @Ivan Trudeau I like my S10E, but I miss my s8. I only got this phone, because I switched to At&t, my charging port was going out on my old phone, and I was running out of memory. I had the LG G2 back in the day and it was awesome, until I upgraded it to 5.0. I shattered the screen on it, used an S3 for 4 months until my contract was up with Verizon, then switched to Boost and got the iPhone SE, used to for a year and 1/2, teo years ago, I got the s8,and then a month ago, I got this phone. My dad still has the V20 and has had it for 3 years. The V10 is my favorite out of all of them. I've always had LG and Samsungs, other than my iPhone and my first two phones on Virgin Mobile.

Best phone I've ever owned!!! Had a v40 v50 and this crushes everything. LG for life

Would love to have the option to have 120 HRZ. But it's really not a necessity. I'd keep it off days I needed to go the entire day. It gets insane battery life for me. I am very very much on my phone all day for work and otherwise. Never had a phone last as long as this bad boy.

Looking at picking this up this week. By chance, when recording video, can it swap between front and rear facing camera? I was looking at the McLaren 7 Pro from One+, but it can't do that; and I've found a handful of phones don't offer that option. Does the LG allow it?

One thing I'm wondering, if you're using the dual screen in landscape mode and go to type something, does the keyboard populate the bottom screen and still give the full image on the top? This would be great for productivity if it does.

Great Video TK. I would like to see you do some LG V60 ThinkQ Tip & Tricks with the dual case

The V60 for T-mobile is not locked out of millimeter wave. T-Mobile does not have millimeter wave 5G so it cannot connect to 5G millimeter wave if you use it on T-Mobile. Now if T-Mobile mergers with Sprint, which has 5g millimeter wave, the phone will then have access to the millimeter wave spectrum and be able to use it. I don't have the source to list in this post but I read it on one of the various tech sites that cover phone technologies.

I'm needing an new phone I saw this on my tmobles site and I was wowed now I'm even more wowed cause of this vid cause you said headphone jack is on the phone I also have an adapter too incase too tho :) it'll even be good for when doing certian videos as well

Outstanding breakdown of this phone I was initially on the fence about purchasing this phone (currently using the V40), But I think I'm going to pull the trigger and get it. The extra screen and the many uses for it, puts it over the top. I was somewhat hesitant due the drop in resolution (QHD to Full HD+), but I really don't think it will make the huge of a difference. What is your take on the resolution compared to the V40?

its a bigger display with a lower resolution but the colors look great and the 2nd display matches the main and that makes for a better experience than the V50

I am in the exact situation as you, still own a V40. Let me tell you what I think: it's not worth it. Doubling an ok screen and using those for another 2-4 years makes us look bad. This model feels like an improved version of the v50 and the older one had a better-looking camera array. The V60 is a nice phone to have last year, but it is not a piece to write home about in 2020 and by 2022 you would be dying to get rid of it. Personally, I am going to wait for another year to let them bring the specs back to the top-of-the-line level.

Good choice. I got it a few days ago. I can use any flagship phone I want. Perks of the job. And I LOVE THIS Phone. Haven't been this stoked on a phone in years. Battery life is off the chain. Dual screen is next level for gaming and multitasking. Camera is better than ever. Better than the ulta when it comes to many things such as auto focusing and in many good lighting situations simply took better photos.

I have a couple questions, I'm not too tech savvy so it's hard to explain what I'm trying to ask- but, about the dual screen::: 1- Let's say I only want it for home, so I get the dual case, but then I also get a single case to put the phone in for on the go. I can do that, right? I don't have to always use it as a dual screen? Also, 2- let's say the 2nd screen is attached, but not turned on. (That's an option?) And I'm scrolling, and realize I suddenly need to multi task. Can I just quickly turn on the dual screen? Or is it either both are on or both are off? Not sure if one can be on while the other is off? I'm very interested in this phone. But I assume I'll only want to use the dual screen some times. It's kindve bulky to use all the time, I assume. Lastly, on the TMobile app a review said that they had the dual screen phone and it was in the case, and it fell off couch, now, while the dual screens were protected- they said that the outer part cracked. I think they said there's a screen on the outer part, I'm guessing when looking at the phone it's the part that shows date/time(?) (Hope I'm explaining this okay) is that part really that fragile? There is no way to protect that part? For those of you considering this or that already have it, do you keep the dual screen on 24/7?

Do v60 vs s20 video test and camera test. I know s20 line has focusing problems, and the v60 doesn't have that focusing problem

Is the bluetooth dac supporting all the high def codecs. I have expensive Focal headphones and bluetooth buds and also in my vehicle. So my Samsung S9 plus always switches back to SBC which is a lower bitrate

At 12.35 you said that the weight is heavy on the top (in landscape mode). I am very interested in this device esp. in landscape mode for writing like a traditional kind of laptop with the base on the table; Can you please tell me (1) how this will work (related to what you said in 12.35) about the weight of the tilted screen, and please also tell me about (2) how your experience is regarding writing on the glass keyboard when you are NOT tomb-writing but writing in a traditional laptop mode with the base on the table? I like many of the phones features, but I'm wondering how LG changing from glass to plastic on this phone will affect the display, besides visuals. Scratch durability? Feel? The best of the best lgv50 and V60,is not all ways all about Beauty on cell's is about productivity on a cell and this lg v60 does everything.

The dual screen in my opinion, is for multi tasking. I wouldn't use it in portrait mode to scroll the web, read or view contents. Perfect for texting, writing, coding. I like it.

LG V60 ThinQ looks promising. People should reconsider getting this one as I think LG is criminally underrated among Android phones.

Nice screen

Professional headphones that need a powerful amp, would be great to see. ASMR recording. Using the included sound recorder app, to make layered audio tracks, Audio Bokeh. ASMR Audio. Using tidal masters with MQA Using the lG V60 for multitrack recording with android pro music apps, the dual screen should come in handy. You could have the mixer faders on the bottom screen and the daw window and tracks and efx up top. A good car mount, cases, and accessories. A good car mount for the dual screen would make this better than most car infotainment systems. Navigation on one screen, second screen could have a split screen of spotify/ news updates, FM local radio, stc. Headphone out to aux in your car, or bluetooth hires aptxhd, ldac? Would like to see google maps on the dual screen. Are there any 2 player tent mode dual screen games, like battle ship. SInce Microsoft will have their dual screen soon, and samsung has their dual screens. What software is written to take advantage of them in pro audio/video/photography/games/utilities/office style apps/ budget/ etc. In depth camera/photography tips and tricks for the dual screens with pro apps, same with video. This phone may not have the top specs, but it should be more interesting than any other phone out, if you can take advantage of the second screen from time to time.

No, the hinge doesn't float and it will crack the glass protectors on the edges closest to the hinge.
