@@ShaiyanHossain EXACTLY. I KEEP saying that LG phones can do things others can't and I love some of these features. The V60's camera features are sooo cool. The built in selfie filters, the ability to take heads free pics by voice command or hand gestures or even by instant face recognition. If a Galaxy or iPhone had those features, itd be the talk of the town

Yeah, considering it even has pen support plus being an optional dual-screen phone when you need it. It makes me reconsider getting Galaxy Note or Surface Duo for my next phone. Currently still using Note 9 and I love this phone. Normally I wouldn't go with huge phones without pen support which as been part of my daily work flow

so who needs a Note 10 when you got this? 2 screens, sd card ecpansion, stylus support AND top grade audio. not to mention its cheaper in most places compared to the Note 10 +

That puts the note 9 very firmly in contention, as it's a superb phone overall that has a headphone jack, no notch and a superb stylus And its now at a reasonable price for regular consumers

I'm sold. I'm a lefty so the 2nd screen in the left side will ba a good benefit since the main phone (the heavy part) will be held by my right hand and writing/doodling on the 2nd screen with my left hand

LG really did not forgotten the modular phone concept. This dual screen seem to be a successor of LG G5 , I hope LG creates more Case modules for this phones like a battery pack.

Rest in peace LG. You never got the recognition that you deserved. I love my LG V60 dual screen with the wacom bamboo spen

I was worried that this feature may be region specific (wouldn't be a first with LG phones), when they only advertised it on the Italian LG site. Awesome for me, I fell in love with the S-Pen on my Note 9 but require a headphone jack. Both are actually key to my workflow (lav mic, taking notes whilst hoping between places, etc.), so I cannot compromise on either. LG needs to advertise this, outside the Mate 20X, this is the only current Wacom compatible Note alternative. With the dual screen and those four microphones, this is something special. Would be cool if you might find the time to look into ways of mounting a stylus to the dual screen attachment. As it stands, it is amazing that a digitizer was included (more so since LG-Marketing apparently swore an oath never to mention its existence), but a sleeve or something to keep the pen securely on the device would really get this to the next level. In any case, I'll replace my ageing Note (9810 really took its toll on the battery, small imperfections on the front due to curved screen) with a V60 if it is made available in my country. Which it might not. LG Europe has a weird role-out strategy, apparently they sell very well in Italy but nowhere else inside the EU, so, LG Austria told me they will not provide V60s, neither unlocked nor via carrier. Maybe I'll import it, though considering the current situation, even sub-par battery life is manageable, considering I don't get to leave my house much.

@lasest2 Sorry, import was perhaps the wrong word in this case, considering the common market. Meant it more in the sense that I'd have to buy it without first being able to test it hands-on. I know that, thanks to 14 day return policies, there is no issue sending it back, should I find an issue with the size or software, but I still prefer being able to buy things after some physical interaction. Also, I am currently not locked into any contract, buying the V60 out-of-pocket may thus be less attractive compared to potential carrier offerings I could take advantage off, if LG offered the phone in Austria.

Now this a good LG V60 review , at least someone mention about LG V60 features , Thumbs Up

I like that the note has been outdone for real this time. The Wacom stylus, while not included, brings what I like about the note to LG's everything and the kitchen sink phone. Unless Samsung makes the note a triple screen phone this year I think it's over for productivity workhorse.

I was thinking to myself with that dual screen it would've been awesome that they included s pen features and then bam. It does. I hope they further refine this maybe include a stylus with the case fitting into the case itself. Only one thing I would've liked. Was like with the notes. Pull out the s pen and the screen is ready to be written on. Comes in handy a lot to write down reminders and important stuff on the go.

Yeah, only reason I tend to use the S Pen is because it's always there in the phone. Half the time I forget at least one thing when leaving the house, I will almost always forget to grab a stylus I only use on occasion. LG, imho, needs a version that slots into the phone or into a case.

Awesome honest review! Lg imo has brought the perfect combo to the current market. You can't find anything on the market that comes anywhere close to the capability this device can do. Phone, tablet, pen, it's a multimedia dream! Can't wait to see what lg does going forward. More people need to really try it.

Great video 👍🏽 I’m currently using an iPhone XR but the Spen was the reason I fell in love with the note series and the reason why I was more hesitant to switch.so I’m glad the V60 has flagship specs for less and has the ability to use top of the line stylus pens

Love this video that is a great feature LG thought that through.... hopefully the face recognition is just a software update but that's looking like a pretty nice phone

WOW! When the g8x came out the only thing that kept me going back to my note 9 was that it had was a fine point stylus. But knowing this changes everything. 2 screens that support fine point stylus? Okaaaaay that's a huge hit for me I'm going to buy this phone

I just bought an old note 9 for editing and the pen is so handy! Can't imagine using it in a dual screen phone. Artist can use one screen as a reference and draw on the other. Office ppl Sign a document on one screen and conference call on the other. Very versatile.

I've never owned an LG phone. I'm thinking about buying one now.

Wish my G8x supported the same. If it does I haven't seen it. My Notes from 8 to 10 Plus are awesome. Love the S Pen. Time someone like LG brought their game to Samsung.

So kinda like the Note but works with any other pens also, that's cool

LOL. I have the rebel 4 just to get by till the V60 come out, as G2 was shutdown end of 2019 which killed my old phone. For a $40 Tracfone, works pretty good and will serve me until the un-locked V60 comes out :-)

So not only did I buy this phone because of you, I now ordered a pen. Great video!

You've now given me the V60 as a potential viable mobile to switch to. The last ones I owned were the V10 and V20. Thanks for a nice review. Love the Enterprise B Excelsior class blueprint on your wall.

@@SomeGadgetGuy same. I took it off for a day to see the difference in battery life (very negligible difference) and by the end, I was ready to put it back on. Would be even better for the V70 if they did something like HTC did with their ice view case but with a cutout. The front is almost pointless to have glass besides that tiny display.

LG always let's so many great features like this go unnoticed just by simply not talking about them, I've always said the V series should compete with the Note in a way, especially since the Stylo exists. Glad LG is finally implementing cool features like that

You are the only reviewer I can bring myself to subscribe to. Other reviews immediately show their bias just by introducing the V60 by the full "LG V60 Thinq 5g dualscreen" as if that's actually the name of the device. yes, it's the LG V60 Thinq - .. .. but then, while comparing it to Samsung they call the samsung device the "S20".. Not the Samsung Galaxy S20 E or plus or ultra.... Keep up the good work.

I had a spare Surface pen loop that I mounted in the case on the right hand side. It works perfectly with the Wacom Bamboo. I finally found my Samsung Note replacement!

I'm on the LG V20 which is still rock solid for my needs, but after watching videos like this I'm quite sure that my future phone will also come from LG, maybe the V80?. And for the record, I purchased my V20 after watching one of your videos for it many years ago :).

ooo I definitely think I will get this phone. I've always been a fan of the Note series. It is a little less convenient not having the stylus fit in the phone. But with the extra screen, it just might be worth it.

How are the thermals of the V60 when multitasking with the dual display? Similarly, how is the thermals when very heavily gaming?

It's about time LG done this... I wish the v50 had pen support too.

Have you tried to see if that stylus works on the v50, with the same as v60? Is there a "text select" option, similar to the s-pen for the Note?

Hi Juan! And how about the interaction inside of a pdf file ? For instance, it is possible to have 1 different book opened in each screen and reading and making notes in both files alternatively? It is possible save and share these annotations with the pc note like a picture but a pdf ? I like and I am a fan of LG but in recent years I had to switch to samsung note because the leak of those features

Man, I have been waiting for a true Note competitor. Fantastic! I may finally replace this G7. How is the video output via wired? The G7 crops it weirdly. Can this do true 4k over HDMI?

Got a V60 finally. But. It only charges up to 50%. Any trick to get it fully charged. Tried multiple chargers but don't have the OEM V60 25w charger. It must be able to because it came with 63%. Now it will not charge past 49. 50.

Does the LG G8X also support a real Stylus at pressure levels?

Juan you should definitely review the LG Stylo 5 I believe you will really like the functionality of the built in stylus.

Does the desktop mode work?

The Moto Z4 also supports the Bamboo Ink 2nd gen be it without a pop up menu. Obviously one can use the buttons in the Bamboo app and in One-one both app supports pressure sensitivity too. Talking about versatile phones.

Does lg still have the cine mode or log format recording on manual video modes? I think that was a really good feature from the v30.

Actually, they still got the cine mode/cine video. Jonathan Casey made a video about V60 camera tricks and includes how to rearrange & download new modes.

LG's stock notes app. But I also use OneNote to sync notes with my wife.

Is something same on LG v50? Or can you install something same like LG v60?

What are your favorite shortcuts to use with the pen app? I've been experimenting with HD recorder for verbal notes.

Hi, I like your videos and the V60 so its a great combination, is it possible you could show how apps work on extended mode? I mean in 2 screens, for example google books or the kindle app?, also does theV60 has the Desktop style UI (Dex style) or what happens if you connect an external monitor? I'm wondering if you are using it as a laptop and if you connect the monitor thru usb-c if it extends the 2nd screen or what happens?. Thanks a lot!

That's OneDrive. I use FX File Explorer to manage on device files.

Good video.... The comparison to Duo (which is gonna come at a foldable price) brings it to the point. "Wide view" or multitasking, as far as supported by the apps is a huge value added in a comparatively low price... The functionality of the pen on both screens does the rest .... V60 is an exceptional phone... Unfortunately personally I think they gone too short on the 2020 cool stuff (high refresh rates HDR+) to keep the price down... Would be willing to pay a bit more for those.

Currently using Note 9, this phones make me reconsider getting instead of Galaxy Note or even Surface Duo for my next phone. Not to mention that LG likely will have way better camera than Surface Duo, unless Microsoft manage to put great camera fkr such a slim device.

This does make the ridiculously huge phone make more sense. Unfortunately seems like it's not gonna make here in Singapore but I can get a case for it...

Those tiny thin tip passive capacitive stylus (LG Stylo pen) worls with newer LG starting with G8 They support 'increase touch sensitivity' option
