I love videos like this because I am a young woman with Down syndrome and have trouble expressing myself verbally and am a very studious curious person and I love to learn so this video is very helpful even though I am currently receiving counseling through my church. Thank You

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I often recommend this exercise with clients who are genuinely paralyzed in their growth journey. I just wanted to tell you this was so articulate in answering so many questions of the whys/goals/how to's, etc. I have made sure to forward to those who may need additional understanding on the power of this exercise. Great job!

This is why I have 782 notes in my notes app on my phone. 🙈🙈 I do this OFTEN!!!! Not necessarily in grief but in anger and frustration for sure. It helps me let a lot go.

Maybe 1/50 times I’ll end up showing my letter or note to the recipient. Or I’ll notate: “did send this text” and then cut off in the middle of it and write “did NOT send this part of the text.” I’ve never really done therapy, but just figured out on my own about letter writing. Like I said above, it’s usually more out of anger and frustration, rage even, but it helps so so sooooo much!!

See? You can trust your inner knowing. You know how to heal yourself and work with yourself. That is fantastic. Writing has helped me since I was a girl. xo Quenby

I do this too. I use Writing to vent, or express my feelings, just get everything out of my monkey mind! It is helpful and I am glad you use it that way too. xo Quenby
