Great content, really enjoyed your breakdowns of these builds. Slamming that subscribe button. My current Wolflord build is Lord on Thunderwolf with TH/SS, the Armor Indomitus, and Rites of War and Resolve of the Bear traits. I usually upgrade to chapter master as well. He's not as murderous as he could be, but he's ridiculously tanky and allows all of my Thunderwolves and elite units to hold down objectives without issue. I've shifted from the smash chaplain on bike support to Rune Priest or Njal support. I think the Tempestas discipline is more viable than ever. Stormcaller and Cloaked by the Storm make my units, especially aforementioned tank Lord, obnoxiously durable. And Instincts Awoken helps tremendously for those turn 1 or 2 charges. Cheers 🍻

Nice analysis, I think a mention should have been given to the wolf lord/captain on bike option paired with hunter warlord trait, this gives him a potential threat range of 33 inch, chose what ever other WT tickles your fanssie as well as a relic of your choice( tanky or more killy) and send him across for a guarenteed first turn charge as a distraction carnifex, or a murder machine, main difference here over the thunder wolf build is you get more reliable distance. if you want to get real sneaky give him a combimelta so he can advance and still hit on 3's with it.

Been loving my current loadout, wolflord with jumppack combi-melta thunder hammer hunter warlord trait and armour of Russ relic.

Good vid. Space wolves are a giod chapter like blood angels they are probably the best marines lore and rules wise.

great video, and yes bring out the real marines. i have only one primaris in my 6000p space wolves army (got to have ragnar)

note though that you can never have a hit of 1+, no matter how many modifyers you have. a roll of 1 is always a fail. So eventhough you can, with modifiers, have get to 1+ to hit, you will still need to roll a 2+ to get a hit. Handy though to have if you ever get -1 (or greater) to hit. Same applies for armour saves etc...guess you knew that though. =)

Personal Tanky wolf lord build Thunderwolf lord, chapter master, angel artifice, resolve of the bear, rites of war, storm shield, thunderhammer. Gets you a T6 8W lord with a 1+, 4+, 6+++, immune to wound and damage rerolls. Grants chapter master re rolls and obsec on non troops. Great nigh unkillable buff lord

Does Shock Assault and Hunters Unleashed stack to give you 2+ in attacks when charging?

Hey Arkus. Hunters Unleashed gives you +1 to your hit roll, not another attack. It just makes your attacks more accurate. This is really good on weapons that give -1 to hit, like thunderhammers, because it negates the negative.

Hey Adam. I usually run them in smaller squads of 6 in competitive play. Fist on the Sgt and claws or TH SS on the WGPL. - Adam

Check out the new Marine book with the Stratagem for Chaplains and being able to chant the turn you drop in. Throw on the bonus to charge chant and get stuck in! - Adam

@@AnvilofWarGaming i know its my first auto include. Wolf priest mos (Skarld) with saga of magesty (maybe hunter as well) + Wulfen stone in the first pod and with commanding oratory ;)
