    Definitely useful as i'm working on building my Space Wolf army and this is exactly what I had in mind for the look of Frost Tech weaponry. Actually gives me the idea to have some of this near the lip of the cannon versions of Helfrost weaponry as if they'd just been fired. Thanks for the video!

    hello Mr. Pete, i dont know if you still answer older videos, but i was wondering if you have a video that goes over your painting process for the rest of this model. i adore it more than i think i adore any other model ive ever seen. I have collected space wolves for a while, but this model triumphs over them all. If there is a video that i have neglected, could you point me towards it? if there is not one, could there be one in the future? His norse-scot hybrid look is a very unique aspect that reminds me of the norse held isles of scotland, and i very much wish to use the style to expand my collection. Let me know your thoughts, and thank you for this video, it is my go to for frost weapons now! :)

    The black is to create a darker contrast when you apply the white. If you used dark blue there wouldn't be quite as much as a difference between the layers when you apply the contrast paint.

  • @Clewerly
    @Clewerly3 жыл бұрын

    I tried this, couldn't get it to look anything like the axe. Not sure what I've done wrong, but the paint looks chalky. I think the can of GW white primer I used has ruined the model as whatever paint method I try just doesn't adhere right

  • @PeteTheWargamer

    @@PeteTheWargamer Thanks yeah I applied the black first. Perhaps I didn't get the right amount of thinner or yeah maybe the surface isn't helping. Will try again on another model!
