Let's Talk About BlueBrixx
Ойын-сауық
BlueBrixx is a non-lego company based out of Germany. They sell a variety of different brands, including their own custom sets! If you're in Europe, they're definitely worth checking out. If you're the US, check them out anyway, but go in knowing it's more worth it to buy more than one set.

As a german Bluebrixx fan who discovered this company quite early I find it really intresting to see that it´s already known on the other side of the world. The many sets I already built from them are all great. They had a couple of problems in the beginning with the clutch power of parts, but these issues all have been resolved in the last year or two. The building techniques are advanced and sometimes a bit fiddly, but I actually like that, since it makes the building process a little more challenging.
When I bought from them, the delivery was fast, and the sets where really good quallity.
I was at their store recently and I was amazed by their style, by their selection of models. Unlike with Lepin, here you don't feel the knock-off feeling, but rather a unique and professional selection of models. I hope this company is going to grow big, cause they do something truly amazing in the toy/model market, that deserves its place.

welp, now they've comfortably gotten a much needed niche in medieval, pirate and especially wild west sets (tho they only have 1 wild west set i'd consider worth buying atm, being the goldmine) i really do look forward to their future shenanigans
Bluebrixx is very good… sometimes. For example the steam engine br 01 is good but the br 89 is hard to build.

I completely understand that. I would live to get the nostromo but I'm very cautious about doing so
The military modells were the first sets they made and they are very fragile, so I wouldn't recommend them. But everything else, that was created after that is quite good especially the medieval and kingdome come delieverance (cooperation with xingbao) sets.
their best model to me is "Burg Blaustein" with several expansion packs. Absolutely amazing!
If you want to build trains...buy Bluebrixx. If you like building castles or pirates...buy Bluebrixx. If you like SciFi other than Star Wars ..buy Bluebrixx. Trucks, architecture, military, botanical...they have it all. Lego is dropping the ball on so many opportunities and I find myself spending a lot more on Bluebrixx...and the quality is more than worth it! 😎
They do have lots of Star Wars sets now, though. Several of them have 10k+ pieces.
Hello all!! I just bough two sets from here, today, and i dont have the time of delivery on my E-Mail, i have to get nervous about it wont get here?? (Im from Spain)
I'm actually planning to buy one of their sets (probably the E-91 freight locomotive or E-90 locomotive with freight wagon)

Nice! I'll probably be buying from them again soon
*@On the Brick* why do you keep saying "non-lego"? do you always say non-CocaCola with a Pepsi or with BurgerKing, non-McDonalds?
@OntheBrick

Because its not lego... it's that simple. It's not lepin and I won't say that, and if I call it lego people will be mad. I could find whatever specific brand it is but it doesn't really matter when the point is for people to understand it's not lego

@@OntheBrick well and good, but isn't it a bit of an exaggeration to say non CocaCola to every Pepsi? How do you do that with the things that drive on the street... isn't everything non-Mercedes Benz at eg. Ford? Or do you use the collective term "car" for these things? You can also do this with non-Lego "build bricks" In addition, as you also know, there are not only the two brands Lego and Lepin ;)* sometimes you americans are really complicated ;)*

It's not quite the same, or at least not yet. Most non-lego (but lego compatible) bricks so far have been knockoffs. Lego is still by far the most well-known company. "Lego" is still the most common term to refer to this kind of building bricks so "non-lego" makes a lot of sense. But nice try I guess w/e you were trying to accomplish.
DOES BLUE BRICKS CAST THEIR OWN MOULDS AND ARE THEY COMPATIBLE WITH LEGO BRICKS?
@sebastianschweizer16

All parts are bought in China, so no own moulds, but all are 100% compatible with lego. They have no brick designs lego has not.

They have some own piece designs for tanks, trains etc but those pieces are 100% compatible too
I actually found this video while building the manhattan
The parts are good quality and 200 parts for 5 euros are a great price so i will recommend
How compatible is Blue Brixx with Lego?
@OntheBrick

Fairly compatible. Maybe 95%. They have some unique pieces but generally you won't have an issue
