You can use the drive shaft from the drive train cut the one end off from a savage hpi dog bone if you need to and use a drill because the shaft is round not hex but in a time of need it works 👍👌✌️💯🍻

I'm a really big fan of the .26 in the monster trucks they behave allot better than ur bigger cubic engines in my opinion first mod I do to my old .26 is put a hpi f4.6 carb on them stock mach crb like u said being al aluminum the slides ware out from the heat ND restart problems f4.6 carb problem solved

Some of the early release m26 and m26ss came with a hard anodized slide in the carb. I have a couple they run great with very consistent idle. The losi 350 also came with a very similar carb with anodized slide.

I broke down my dynamite .28rtr yesterday after putting countless gallons through it ND I gotta say there is no difference from the hpi f4.6 other than the looks of the crankcase everything is the same wat a surprise

Todd i know this is a older post but this carb is what i was talking about the other day with o rings. I got my engine used its missing the o ring on the idle screw and the top o ring on the carb that goes into the engine. Do you still have this set-up? If so would you be kind enough to get me a few measurements?

It has the stock carb, all metal with M logo?

Idle screw and are you referring to the o-ring that goes around the carb throat?

  • @joshherrman3201

Yes the stock carburetor with the m logo. The fact idle on the back and the o ring on the main body that goes into the engine is missing the second top one.

@@joshherrman3201 the idle is 5mm(od)x 1.5mm, and I use 10mm(id) x1.5 for both the one inset into the carb throat and the one at the top of the throat.
