Hey man, any idea if the Mach 427 is the same as the Dynamite Mach 2 .26? Or even better, can you run a .28 Dynamite Big Red piston and liner in it? Looking at used engines to rebuild for my Team Associated RC8 restoration and saw one of these, and I know it's irrational but I just love the way that ice blue metallic heatsink looks on the Losi Mach 427

Let me do a little more research. I used to know. I know the dynamite.28 piston and sleeve will fit in the SH.28, but I don't think the dynamite 0.28 piston and sleeve will fit in the big red 0.28 so I'm not too sure. But here's the part number for the 427 piston and sleeveDYN0973

Woogie did you heat it up the 427 to get the piston to drop?

Yes and it was very gummed up as well but once you heat it up that gum meanness starts to soften up to where you can turn it

I have an 1/8th scale nitro team losi with the 427cc that seems to be locked up. What is going on? I can't get it to turn by hand or starter pack. I have one other nitro but all my other stuff is lipo battery 3s but kinda new to nitro...advise is greatly appreciated

Put some penetrating oil or 3-in-1 and then heat it up to about 250°. May have to do it a couple of times, but once you heat it up it'll loosen up the gunk you'll be able to turn it

Brps are the best tires superspikes rear and knobbies front is good setup just my opinion! Or all superspikes great tires

Some people like the rcmax ones I love taylor rc parts but the wheels I'm not big fan style as well as size

Dont supose you have the base settings for this engine (factory settings)

Yea man I returned my turtle racing diff case with the rovan diff. Steve from ddm said its meant for the hpi diff.. the rovan diff is slightly wider.. I use the rovan diff with better luck

Yeah that's what I figured

Woogie buy the irc dif and you will have no issues its cause the rovan dif and bearings don't fit well in the turtle case

Also what bearing you using get acer, avid or boca bearings not rovan

I'm using avid bearings always swap the rovan ones off but never mind what I said where can you get the IRC diff cup they're back in stock at Detroit performance so I'm ordering one tonight and you're right it does say direct replacement for the hoi and fits TR

@@woogienitro yeah I altered my turtle dif houseing so I can use rovan ones on one of mine just to have that option but it's better to use right stuff will give ya nice free spinning drive train more power when there is less friction💥💥💥💨💨💨 mire power is always bettet!🤣

At the beginning of the video you told us there was a change coming that she was going to tell us at the end, and you didn't. That's the only reason I stuck through the whole thing. Not that I didn't want to watch the video I just was flipping through different videos, I guess kind of like the unboxing you're becoming the king of suspense and kind of like they doing TV with having the commercials and and having to suspense so to make sure you tune back in after the commercial. Come on drop them bombs, because he kind of sounded like it was going to be something bad or something like you were leaving the hobby or something which I would be sad to see or hear. I enjoy listening and and watching the wrenching videos I'm not much for watching running videos I could care less. Get enough of that running my own stuff, but I'm doing this while I'm driving using the auto voice text so if it's a little jumbled up I'll apologize. So hopefully we don't have bad news to drop whenever it is you decide to drop it
