I am astounded at the amount of fans and LSTs still out there. I have two of them. One is a low speed crawler with big tires and soft suspension, the other is the race truck, and where I've dumped all the money. Over the years of keeping the race truck on the road, I've broken and upgraded just about every part on it. Old parts trickle down to the rock crawler. Mach 427 engine, forward only trans, metal spur gears, metal diffs, aluminum frame plates and shock towers... The works. You can still get parts for them online, and the hobby shop near me keeps some spur gears in stock. He loves seeing me fire up the old losi and whoop on some brushless guys in the parking lot. Nobody ever expects second gear... Put a bigger engine on it, upgrade the steering servos and spur gears, and lose those old losi wheels for some high speed slicks with plumbing solder wrapped around the inside of the rim under the foam to keep it planted at speed. Tape it down, and super glue the tire to the rim. Try not to turn too sharp at 80 or you end up replacing a lot of frame plates, shock towers and control arms. 😂

Losi Engineers knew what the heck they were doing. I still have my all original LST & LST 2 and they both started up with in 5 seconds after sitting for 7 years. Just unbelievable! Yes, Losi should bring them back on a rerelease and I would absolutely buy them again!

Man that thing is sick. From the shocks to the bodt to the 2 speed baby it's just bad ass!

Hey Tarek, yes that is the 1/8 scale HSP with the SH .21 engine, this is the one I put the silicone earplugs into the center differential. So far that your plug fix for the center depth is terrific absolutely nothing has broken and it is as locked as it was before. Meaning, nothing has gotten softer.

Nitro for life.

Back in 2006, I chose the Aftershock because I don't need reverse. I still have it, I have a Lrp. 28 on it. Sickening.

hey man! Yes, the Aftershock was a later version of this truck form my understanding and it removed the nearly useless features of reverse, ahah!! Still cool to see at the time because people were convinced they needed reverse, ahah!!

That was one sweet driftin’ baby! And I love the LST! Building my first one right now! So watching this definitely helps me stay motivated! Thanks Bud!! Love the original design of that particular one, and you are right those bodies are tough to get ahold of, and should you find an available one. It won’t be affordable for long!! That’s probably the final part that I’ll do to finish the truck. All aside from that, another excellent video!!!

I gotti doble DOVID en mis hue-vos a few weeks ago. I soaked my canicas in some bones brew (hueso mezcla pa' los paisanos). It gottie fix everything except for my huevos smell like nitro.

Man I remember at one time with me and my dad had like 20 lst now I’m down to 4 he has 3 but man’s we had 5 shelf queens 2 electrics with 2 speeds and 3 electric with one speed and the rest were nice clean nitro

I payed 8 dollars for my lst came with the 454 too but I have the hpi octane engine for it as it fits horizontal and the original losi 3 speed clutchbell fits on the 15 cc

Nice I got a lst aftershock the one with the ugly ass rims pretty much given to me in poor condition. Wish it was a driving unit someone actually killed the shocks one is replaced with a solid turnbuckle lol and the rest are all leaked out. It's engine runs good can't kill it.

@@michaelinzitari a standing backflip is where it wheelies so hard it flips it's self completely over without making forward progress. Check out the video of the hemi Volkswagen beetle doing it, and perhaps you'll understand the concept a little better. if you can do it in a vee dub, sure shooting, it can be done with a ten pound RC car. Slap a big block on a nitro car. Find out for yourself. 😁 Like I said. It's $170 well spent.

Hey Mark, I will admit the low range is extremely low and also a good way to overrev the motor unless you are aware you are in low range, but it is extremely great for hills and crawling.

hey dude!! That is a tough choice, it really depends which features you fave more. The positives on the Traxxas Revo is this (cheaper, equally fast, good parts support, reverse, included receiver battery). Basically a ton of positives. Savage 4.6 is Pullstart, and you will need a battery, also no guarantees the 2-speed will shift. Bro click the "in stock nitros" link in this video and get the REVO 3.3, it's the best overall I'd say.

Hybrid, so I went with Hobao Nitro MT plus and a Traxxas Slayer Pro in which I used your AMain link to purchase… I want to know your thoughts on HOBAO? I happen to really like them for numerous reasons including vehicle value and quality, parts availability and customer service/ support…. What has been your experience with them? I want to add I have the Hyper VT as well…

Hybrid, I’m happy to report that I swung for a new Savage 4.6 X as well to add to the nasty line of NITROs that I’ve acquired. I love upgrading and modifying my cars so I feel that any problems the new Savage might have, I can upgrade and make it better.. I hope someday to run some NITROs with you Hybrid, whether in Staten Island or Phoenix AZ it will be sick… Best of luck in all that you do! Love your content it’s great man!! TM.

Hey bro, yes for that price I would snatch it up right now. Worst case scenario you could stick in any other big block engine, and it will be good to go, suspension wise these things are Unkillable.

I love the lst. Its a shame that it was going under my radar when it was relevant. I love the shocks, tranny and wheels on it! I think i never saw this truck in my rc community. I know it where sold here, but realized it when it where gone sadly. The market here in Norway back then where flooded with hpi and Kyosho.
