You can see how Dom just delights in being a character actor in everything he does. And I know from having friends like that that sometimes it’s a bit annoying and you wish they could dial it back a bit; but if they did you would not have the amazing opportunities and experiences that can also come from it.

@@kai.sings.sometimes Nah, while Holly did get the best cards she still only screwed up 2 times while all the others did so 6 times which is a bit more then just luck. Holly just played better then Sully even if you don't count the luck. Everyone involved here have dex as their dump stat. Dom is the true bad guy, his manic laughter beats everyone and Tom is the only one who at times might be a challenge there. Nah, poor Laurie is more the big brother who have to suffer all his younger siblings shenanigans.

Dom saying “I have the power of life and death” made me BURST out laughing 😂 😭

Great game for this group. Laurie and Dom are perfect options for this rage inducing game where you feel so powerless as your hands just can’t do what your brain knows it needs to.

It was nice to see in this episode that laurie seems to be genuinely relaxed - I don't know if its just me seeing him laugh and chat more?

I think he usually laughs and chats, but his dynamic with Adam is very competitive and bitter, and their rivalry has taken up a lot of the spotlight in prior episodes, but Adam isn't in this one.

I love that Laurie consistently gets within millimetres of placing his pieces, then suddenly reconsiders and starts all over just to try to put them back exactly where he was trying to place them initially, sometimes three times in a row.

@harveyholmes9533 maybe I didn't express myself correctly, yes I know they're having fun, no I don't think that they've been phoning it in or faking it for the past 140 odd episodes, but I haven't really seen Laurie relax and go with the flow as much as this last episode, no need for extra calculations on how to have fun but also mess with Adam at the same time

this is not the episode i would thought of being one of the funniest for such a simple game lmaoo

I had tears in my eyes from laughing probably half a dozen times in this episode. Fridge magnets it was good!

I swear there must be something in the air at the new studio. The quantity and absurdity of the bits since they moved there has been outrageous.

I love the whole nrb crew. Thank you for making me laugh and showing my family and me new games we have never heard of. We have a list of games we have seen you guys play we plan on purchasing. Holy binbags that was such a fridge magneting funny episode

Every accident you have, you lose one of your safety certificates. If you lose all three certificates, you dissappear. If Stalin comes around and is satisfied by the work of one of your commrades four times he visits, the rest of you dissappear, the 'winner' is taken away to be 'honored' for their hard work to the state, and they may or may not dissappear.

Domrade is such a perfect combo for Dom! I vote for Domrade! God he did a monsterkill with the white one!

I sincerely hope that there’s an affiliate link situation in the works - I’ve purchased one or two games from seeing these videos and would have happily bought through an NRB link.

I see that Laurie’s hostile takeover of NRB has been successful 😂

I am not aware of all the details but in summary: credible allegations of abuse of power/station, this isn’t the first time (he was removed from a different wrestling channel for similar issues), the initial quick look into it wasn’t great and while an investigation is ongoing he and the channel have parted ways. I am others can give much better context than that. I didn’t realize it given it always seemed like this was his channel but he was apparently brought in to be host and the others were more so the creators of the channel. Laurie is acting as current main host and honestly without Adam there Laurie has opened up so much more and went from someone I didn’t have a strong opinion about to a favorite cast member. I really think the constant ribbing and treating him like he was mean type cast him into a role in videos. He’s so much funnier and has great charisma with the others when he isn’t being cast into the role of “angry backstabbing tattoo guy” that in hindsight was being pushed into him IMO.

This has been the best, least hinged episode of Board Game Club. Holy fridge magnets.

Had no expectations for this game, so very pleasantly surprised, the foursome did wonderful together

I don't know what was for breakfast at NRB before filming this episode, but this was one of the funniest Board Game Club episodes I have seen so far. 10/10 would build again.

Well, we don't have any blueprints Dom because all the architects were blinded.

I love how in every BOTC episode Holly is some evil mastermind, and in every BGC episode Holly is just doing their absolute best, they're really trying I swear they're just having a hard time right now.

Stalin’s version of this game is The Mini Gulag Construction Set. All the beams are the same color and all inconsistently made so some are made of rubber, others will crumble if not fully supported, others are made of solid lead. You must achieve round by round height requirements that eventually become unobtainable. And you must ensure all the accidents and deaths are hidden whenever the inspector shows up, or you simply bribe them. Push the workers too hard and you’ll have to spend turns brutally putting down a rebellion.
