Technically Danni Minoque was the boatman, the boat was Danni Minogue's monster.

At our local Cornish village spring fete we all gathered together to watch your latest televisual broadcast on the village’s new KZread machine. Once the boiler was fired up, and the steam was up to pressure we all marvelled at the ‘moving pictures’ that it portrayed. Some of the elderly had to be taken away to the local single storey public house to recover from the shock! We really must see more of these marvellous characters and their daring adventures! We were however somewhat disappointed that while gently mocking us Cornish folk there was nary a mention of pasties, clotted cream, pixies or tin mining! You posh city folk really must try harder 😊😊

If you like Podcasts, Dom is on a series called "The Apocalypse Players" which is him and 3 other of his friends playing Call of Cthulhu scenarios. Each often will be taking it in turn to be the keeper. It's fantastic, there's so much of it as well.

The post-production team put in THE WORK on this one... the voice modulation was perfect, the sound effects suitably creepy, and the entire thing was soundtracked in a way that enhanced without distracting. Lovely work both in front of and behind the camera!

Y'all get the tone for Call of Cthulhu, or rather the tone it inevitably breaks down into: visceral nightmares counterpointed by wacky shenanigans Please do more!

Dom’s skills as keeper constantly astound me so I’m very excited about this one!! Also hope to see more CoC on here, and, dare I say it, perhaps even featuring an Apocalypse Players crossover?

Funny thing. I'm German and 2 weeks ago a friend of mine from Ireland and fellow board game nerd told me to watch The Traitors. So when I watched the first episode I was like "That's the guy from No Rolls Barred!!!" So yeah, I might be the only one that knows Ivan from NRB first and The Traitors second edit: He's ace! Totally forgot to mention that

I'm very happy that Hollie sat down, remembered this is a game about people loosing their mind, and from sentence one started derailing on her own with no prior narrative reasoning. Boom that boom!!!

Story about saying "macbeth" in a theatre: When I was in high school doing tech for a musical, someone had said the name of the scottish play on stage, and the next day during rehearsal, a huge (but well-secured) chandelier prop came crashing down from the rafters. One of the students was supposed to be standing in that exact spot but missed their cue because of a costume malfunction. He would've been hospitalized no doubt...

Another story - I was part of the cast, the narrator in this case, of my drama group's production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and it was our first year using headmics on the main cast (I think, might have been the second). Someone named the Scottish Play backstage the night of the show, and one scene in there was a power cut. The show must go on, of course, and the older among us may have started doing a crash course/reminder on vocal projection backstage, and during the interval we did what we could remember of the ritual to remove the curse (not caring that it was a bit gross out). The power came back during the final scene... which just made all the prompting being done from side stage audible 😅

Couple of years ago I said Macbeth backstage on opening night of a pantomime The actor playing the dame died that night. But is literally just a superstition, I'd done the same thing at least 20 times before that night and done it a dozen times since.

As one of your two remaining Cornish viewers, Dom's reference to holiday homes was the most terrifying part of this video.

Making people with acting background play roleplay games can only be a good thing, and should be done a lot more.

Screaming at Ivan fumbling a pushed roll and yet being the only one surviving (?) without much consequence 😂😂

Wisnae bad. She needs to learn to distinguish when to use /ai/, as in tied, and /Ii/, as in tide. Also, 'I' is almost universally pronounced 'A' as in 'cat' (she pronounced it /Ii/ quite a few times, which is just wrang). Heard a lot worse, mind you, especially on TTRPG Actual Plays.

This is bloody brilliant. Dom is the best keeper around full stop. The quality of dialogue, the banter, the storyline … head and shoulders above most RPGs I’ve experienced.

Dom is perhaps the greatest DM in history. All we need for this channel now are some games of Dread, like the brilliant-but-too-short Red Dread Redemption series on NRB.

Dom's intro convinced me i had actually clicked on an ad for Chaotic Neutral filming a movie.

The evil laugh Dom had when he asked Sully for a luck roll after using it is never not funny to me LMAOOO EVIL DOM!!

This episode was a lot of fun, though it would be cool if there was some sort of "debriefing" afterwards where Dom explains what was going on behind the scenes and different ways the players could have succeeded in the scenario.

This was spectacular! It had everything; mystery, murder, mayhem, monsters and MADNESS! Old loves lost and found, and lost again (sorry Danny). With Ivan Brett from the smash radio drama The Traitors as the absolute cherry on top! 11/10 ^w^

I love the sound design when Dom is describing tense moments. Really brilliant production on the video, alongside a great group of people.

I love that you play more Call of Cthulhu!! Can't get enough of it! Dom is an excellent Keeper of Arcane Lore. I hope that you guys will play Delta Green some day as well! More modern Cthulhu Mythos scenarios with Agents from different cells with every member having a codename and all of them uses the first same letter in their codenames. For example: A-cell. Every codename starting with an A. Would be very cool to watch.

And of course the wee nods & winks are greatly appreciated, especially the ships name: not a lot of people know about Danii Minogue's connection to the Lovecraft mythos... 😉 41:25 I like to think the whole Scottish Play curse is the ghost of the historical Macbeth getting his revenge for the slander on his good name (not that it's necessarily Shakespeare's fault, he was undoubtedly working from prevailing historical attitudes which were biased by propaganda designed to legitimise James VI/I)
