So, quick question. To fight Parace, do you just need to beat Angelia, or do you need to get a certain number of Gold medals thruout the playthru?

You don't have to get any of the medals honestly, you can just get there by winning the fights themselves and not even worry about it. If you're starting out, you do have to beat the other two bosses (Scharlachrot then Angelia) I've shown in this video.

Okay, that is VERY good to know. I'm that insane person who would try to beat the superboss till the cows come home, long as there weren't some ridiculous prerequisite to fight them (lookin at you Giga Bowser). So, yay! ^v^

Oh yeah, one more thing. Do you know of a way to use Angelia's teleport while playing with Simple mode? Or is it only available to her in Normal mode?

Update: I just went thru Trials mode getting only 2 of the Bronze medals, and the game ended after beating Scharlachrot. Which means that to fight Angelia and Parace there are further requirements than just "passing the fights". What are they?

How can I fight with parace?

I think she's the only character you can't use. I mean not even for the fun of it in a versus/training mode. She makes Gill downright tame in comparison.

you need to learn some combo .

That's why I picked Fiona, so I wouldn't need combos. But yeah, everyone's got a plan til Parace shows up.
