First of all, I didn't even realize anyone was data mining this game. Just finding that people have learned as much as they have about such a great obscure game is blowing my mind. I knew about the top down town sprites hidden on the disc since I was able to see them when I used a gameshark to view the sprites way back when, but I didn't realize there was THIS MUCH cut content. In regards to the slabs, I always wondered about that myself, but not too much. Mostly because there's so many weird things about this game that it's easy to overlook some of those details. I was about to say that the symbols had something to do with maybe visiting each slab in some kind of order, since the two dots and the single line seemed to indicate each symbol would maybe count as a section of that 5 line number or something. Granted, three of those lines were identical, but maybe they expected people to guess the order a little? But then you mentioned the Mayan number system and that makes a lot of sense too. Of course, I'd imagine they cut it because it was the late 90s, who the hell was going to actually understand the Mayan number system back then? These days, sure, you can google anything. But back then, not so much. I'm sure if they'd had enough time to develop it, they could've made it like a weird teachable moment in-game, but it doesn't surprise me that it went unused. Also, your production value is awesome. Love your sense of humor. And, obviously, the topic is close to my heart. So you got my attention!

My guess is that you could pick up the slabs once the event is triggered and then place them on a room in order to solve a math puzzle that unlocks a room or area. That's the only logical conclusion that i can come up with. In fact, in 8:50 you can see the icon showcases what it looks to be tiles with two symbols one next to another, which could indeed be related to the slab event.

There is another very big mistery in this game: the treasure of the leader of the pirates. For 2 times during the game you find a pirate that tell you that the leader of the pirates has entrusted him with the task of protecting his treasure, but he losts it and he asks you to find it.After that you find it for the second time,he thanks you and says he'll rush to return it to the leader of the pirates before losing it again. When you go in the room of the leader of the pirates in the haunted house (after freeing that area from the influence of the related evil pig) and you talk to him,at the end of the conversation he gives you his treasure telling to you that he doesn't need it anymore, then he go away and you'll never see him again...The mistery is: what the hell is that treasure and what is it for?!Because if you look in your inventory you can see this object (with an icon that has always made me think of a crystal ball on a bearing),but in the info box the game doesn't give you any specific information of it,and from that point until the end of the game there is absolutely no events where you can use it (as the icon reminded me of a crystal ball,i've also tryed to give it to the witch Mizuno and to the soothsayer in the Bacchus village, but nothing...)...And i ended the game multiple times finding and solving all the 130 events of the game...I've always missed something or simply that object was for an event that then they remove from the final version of the game (maybe when they decided to remove that event they were in too advanced stage of development to also remove that object and all the rest of the events that led to obtaining it and therefore they could only eliminate the event for which it was needed and that's it?)? 🤔

Hello, you assembled the stones I the correct order, it is a mouse following cheese, a little hint to the maze we wanted to include, the numbers were supposed to be for after you have captured the last boss, they would release a set of powers which was hoped to be a hint to the next game, which unfortunately never went through, which is why we left them there at such a late stage, six was removed because it would activate, and too many strings attached to the event meant it was easier to cut one and leave the rest
