All the songs all the eras are the best

Warrior has a completely different meaning now. After watching the documentary and knowing about the r@p3 they endured at 15 years old, causing them to lose their v!rginity… the song holds even more weight now.

Honestly, I suspected something like this happened to them since the first time I've heard this song, the words are so obvious even if you've never been through it yourself. They were so emotional about this song they admitted not wanting to sing it live in the beginning as it was too much. Same with "Sober" tbh and how some fans didn't realize they're struggling and kept arguing it's about their past. You could hear it in their voice. Skyscraper also feels like it was about their assault, if you listen to all the words closely. "Do you have to make me feel like there is nothing left of me", it was not directed to their bullies but that person. Edit: Demi goes by they/them, I kind of struggle sometimes and wrote some pronouns as "they" and some as "she"... corrected to make it right

@@Paula-um3js good assumption on Warrior (as Demi confirmed on Twitter it was about sexual abuse - highly possible it’s about her assault trauma from 15 or something else from childhood as she said in her DWTD documentary that she had sexual trauma from both childhood and teenage years - but Warrior most likely is about that). Only thing I will say is Demi didn’t write Skyscraper, but I think when she sings it, she’s most likely thinking about that unfortunate incident in which her she felt her innocence was stolen from her at 15 (writing it like that because getting raped does not count as losing your virginity). Also Demi added she/her back to her pronouns so don’t feel bad.

The fact that Demi's old team forced demi to shoot " made in the USA" music video literally 2 days after their father passed away

Demi's self-titled album is my favourite by them after Tell Me You Love Me. Through the songs in this album, Demi reminds everyone that there have been times when they have been vulnerable, much like any other human being. I feel like this is kind of like a transition era for Demi (both vocally and sonically) as their music had a more mature sound/feel to it. Plus, this is the era in which Demi began using that signature "big voice" that they are known for.

You’ve just made me remember how much I was in love with this album when I was younger. Two Pieces was it for me. I remember a walk when I was with my family and playing two pieces through my headphones and just enjoying love and nature 💓

i'm super excited!

Easily my favourite album and era by Demi. It greatly captures what some of the best times in my life were like. Dancing my heart out to radio hits like Heart Attack, Neon Lights, and Really Don't Care and then falling in love with the rest of the album. Demi was getting so much love at this point and was accomplishing so much (and still is today of course). I remember seeing them on the X Factor, playing their Path to Fame app, and seeing so many live performances of Demi in this era. I would love to go back and experience this all again.

I loved this video! ❤️ made my day better I have been relistening to the albums before I watch your Demi videos and I guess I really only listened over and over again to the singles as a kid (I remember when the get back/don’t forget music videos would be on Disney channel all the time and I loved them) so really enjoying getting obsessed with the deep cuts now. I’m glad you didn’t skip this album and shared your nostalgia with us because that’s what I’ve been doing too

Btw, DEMI is also my favorite album alongside Don't Forget and DWTDTAOSO now. Easy Top 3 to me with HWGA comig up close. This album is super good and the songs aged so well

I have nostalgic memories for this album as well I had it on repeat for so long! I LOVE this album!!! This was such a wonderful reaction/listening party!!! i went to my high school days and cried like a baby with this reaction, demi will always have a special place in my heart omg and pls keep reacting to them

i really like this album listening to it nowadays. i was also in high school when they released it and it gives me some strong nostalgia, but it's way more than that. this one has some powerful ballads that will direct their future works until pretty much the art of starting over. this one is the transition and i appreciate it much more now. can't wait to your confident reaction!!

I'm loving for these, talk about great timing! This album does always remind me of her xfactor judge days too which I know were difficult for her but I loved this vibe. Always a rock girl though haha! Also totally miss when demi played electric guitar and piano live. Nightingale was always ny fave of that album, atleast the one that impacted me most! Shouldn't come back was sung live acoustically a few times and if it's even possible for even sadder. 😭

I got to go to the Neon Lights tour when it came to Nashville with two of my best friends at the time and it was so fun! Fifth Harmony and Cher Lloyd were the opening acts and I was LIVING. All three of us cried during Skyscraper and Warrior and it’s still one of my best high school memories!

the made in the usa mv was co-directed by demi and it's honestly just beautiful

the two pieces live performance was actually here in brazil, it was is Goiás in Goiania, this was the last time demi went to brazil (they were supposed to come with tmylm tour in 2018, it was the next leg of the tour, but obviously we know what happened) i miss them here so much, even though i never been to demi's show, they really love coming to brazil :)

The bridge on Heart Attack is a top tier bridge. That, and Give Your Heart A Break. They gave what pop music couldn't of wouldn't.

omg I wish you had reacted to the deluxe version with the song “I hate you don’t leave me” that they wrote after reading a book on borderline personality disorder to capture the feelings of people affected by that disorder, it’s such a beautiful song

I wish that song was included in the album, it's one of the best for me, with a deep meaning behind it. Same happened to Smoke and Mirrors from TMYLM. Sometimes I feel like they always leave out the best tracks :/

To this day this is my favorite album by them. I just love it so much.

Demi was a minor character in the MITUSA video because they directed it and wanted to spend more time on that as opposed to being in front of the camera. They also co-directed the videos for Neon Lights and DWTD. It was great watching you be nostalgic watching this but definitely hope at some point you can listen to I Hate You, Don't Leave Me which was a bonus track on this album and one of their best songs. So looking forward to your review of Confident!
