In Blowing Smoke I think the “brighter than the star” lyrics means that she know who he is brighter then the stars, not that he himself is that. At first listening I didn’t get that but later on I think it makes more sense

i think in blowing smoke, the line "i know what you are, brighter than the stars," she's not complimenting him and saying *he's* brighter than the stars, i think she's saying "i know what you are, and i can see it brighter than the stars."

the repetition of the "down" lyric on i knew it, i know you is a reference to her song 'long sleeves' which is also about her leaving a relationship to protect herself and she repeats the lyric "im coming down" in almost the same melody at the end!!!
She was started dance when she was 6 im pretty sure. Her mum was her dance teacher and she was on a competitive show called 'so you think you can dance@ and also performances like on SNL and at the brit awards 2024

After watching the folklore reaction, I knew happiness and champagne problems would absolutely destroy u even before watching this video
I loved Good Riddance. But this album just felt empty, the vocals were especially sad ( not in a good way ) with the music. Risk was definitely great and Close To You wasn't half bad either, but this album doesn't feel like a proper piece. Felt like she rushed out an album to ride the popularity train. Wish she took her time and developed her sound but oh well. I think she'll make her mark in the industry some day.
You have to cover Rachel Chinouriri's debut album What a Devastating Turn of Events. She deserves so much more buzz.
I love the album but I wish the songs weren’t so short. Like run for the hills, stay done, and Calgary deserved a bridge.

In "Free Now" when she said "If you feel like falling, catch me on the way down" are my favorite lyrics bc the implications of that are .. sad but beautiful. Saying you're already below them (I'm assuming) at where you feel you are in life, and telling them if they feel like falling to catch you while they do so you can both go down together? THE WRITINGGG

Honestly I really didn’t love Good Riddance, especially when I really liked This Is What It Feels Like. THIS however is her best work so far. Cannot wait to see her in October!
