I agree 100%... it's incomprehensible how so called 'professionals' would do that to an ED patient... like the whole point of recovery is freeing the person from all the rules and restrictions regarding food and helping them get a balance in their lives... yet instead of doing that they just continue with the strict rules... like not being allowed to have some cake on your birthday... really? It's impossible not to be proud of Demi. She went through all of this trauma and close calls with death, and she came through clean on the other side. Watching the first three episodes of the documentary make this album hit that much harder. Demi poured her heart and soul into this piece of art and it shows.

You need to watch the documentary to understand the album completely, especially ICU. Back when Demi was first using and her sister Madison was very young, her mum threatened to not let Demi see her sister unless she stopped using, so she did... Until 2018, then when Demi woke up Madison was beside her bed, holding Demi’s hand, and it was a full circle moment cause Demi woke up blind and this time really couldn’t see her sister... that’s why it’s called ICU, I see you and intensive care unit...

ICU As in the hospital when she was blind and couldn't see Madison, her sister. I see you cuz she's not blind anymore. Ugh...her mind.
