Helloooooooooo.... Very long time, no speak! I’m back in action (kind of) after recovering from a broken ankle. This is a very chatty, what we’ve been up to sort of vlog but I was really keen to catch up with you all. I really hope you enjoy, apologies for the lack of horse action and fingers crossed, normal horsey content will resume soon 🙌🏻

So so great to see you back. I've really missed your vlogs. I totally understand your frustration. I broke my shoulder last year , not riding, my friends horse spooked and pulled me over 🙄. So frustrating as me and my own horse had just started doing really well in local dressage shows. And then corona happened!!! Ugh!! Hopefully I will be able to get back to competing over the winter. So glad to see you back in the saddle. Just take it steady, don't overdo it!!

I'm sorry to hear you broke your ankle. I did it 4 years ago and still struggle with it a bit. Don't rush, you'll get there :)

Mara seems like my Claude who is 6 and I find when we have green grass which we have had recently as we had rain, he has got more spooky but also is showing adolescent signs

Ahh thanks Emma, it’s feeling so much better this week! Your boy looks to be FLYING at the moment!! If I can get can us both back up to full fitness I would be very tempted to enter the HT at Munstead myself 🙊👀

Take your time to heal my love. Ankles are a real bugger to get right after trauma. Depending on the type of break ofcourse. To cheer you up at least you can wear you boots again it took me six months to get in normal shoes. Stumbled about in bl**dy Crocs until then. :).

Definitely taking it slow! It still isn’t 100% so the last thing I want to do is re-injure it. Oh gosh, that must have been frustrating for you. Oddly, it actually feels better when it’s in a nice supportive riding boot 🙈

Hey 👋🏻😊 With online hate I block, delete and move on. I’ve responded back in the past and that has always made me feel worse. The quicker it is out of my life, the quicker I forget about it all. People who look for flaws or negatively criticise you for not being where they think you should be, is ALWAYS a reflection of themselves.⁣⁣ No matter what others might say, never doubt your worth!! X

Well done Mara and why people go into judging if they are not going to be fair people pay money to be properly judged and not just pretend to have judged each and every horse in the competition so no that was not very fair I mean I know it goes on I mean judges have there favourites and that is generally who they stick with at each show but I think it should be made stricter and a lot fairer for everyone

Donna Jeffery 100% agree! You win some and you lose some, that’s just competing in general but I do always expect the judge to give you the time of day. They say judges pick their winners as soon as they see them but you could at least give the rest of the class the time of day 😉 The other judge was WONDERFUL though - Really thorough and thank ALL the horses/ponies for coming forward.
