really liked the video, one small criticism is i think the music could be a bit lower or your voice a bit higher volume, sometimes its a bit hard to focus on one over the other for me.

The BG music is set at 15, so i think 10 is the sweet spot moving forward.

Glad it was interesting. I felt as though no one was talking about how mhgu affected other iterations.

Best video gor best weapon. Can we talk about how good long sword tweaks were in sunbreak vs its history too. Maybe how all weapons became godlike in rise (except hunting horn)

I was thinking of doing the history of long sword's counter and how it changed the weapon in mhgu. I do want to talk about how weapons updated in general, but supperrad has done an excellent series with that, so my videos will be more focused on 4th and 5th fleet, not the entire series.

I still remember when I tried CB in MHGU coming from Rise and World. I was so confused, and it was a totally different experience. Yellow shield? Guard points acting like hyper armor? no AED/SAED after guard points? I was completely lost and had to watch a guide on it. But with that said, I learned to love it. The instaguard and evade on adept style were very fun to use and the third axe chop on valor is cool, and I really wish it comes back in some way because it would be wild with the extra savage axe/CSS ticks and would feel so good. Not to mention that any additional moves to the axe mode would be welcome. Having energy blade back in some way would be amazing, especially if we had switch skills implemented in wilds. Maybe instead of it firing a big laser, it consumes your phials and gives your sword an energy effect that gives you extra range and damage on your sword attacks or opens up a whole new sword move. Thanks for the video btw

Yeah i went back to mhgu for this video and energy blade not returning is a lowkey crime. The main reason I loved mhgu charge blade were the styles and arts, in spite of the nerfs. It made me rethink what charge blade could do vs what was optimal. And then capcom made the alternate playstyle a 2nd identity for charge blade.

cb is best in 4U imo. not easy to proc GP and require setup for big boom boom. spinning axe is great for elemental build but its honestly boring spamming the same move over and over again. CPP isnt that good either, might as well give free red shield from the get go. idk i just miss the raw playstyle and mechanical sounds from 4U cb.

Sunbreak is my favorite iteration. I started with 4u and played every iteration. Sunbreak has the best matchup spread imo. There isnt a single strictly bad matchup. In 4th fleet rajang and other fast mons were a menace

@@greadyknight yeah Sunbreak does make cb a lot more balanced and provide variety instead of using raw impact all the time. it's just too easy to use and lost some of its complexity in 4U. that's probably why i use LS Sacred Sheath more in Sunbreak. the buildup to red gauge then go whamy with Spirit Release then repeat, just like CB in 4U, buildup to red shield then SAED then repeat.
