Hi.I had a small music shop.I used to sell cassettes. I'm 53 now. They were most important famous persons I met in my life. They were normal, sincere and gentleman. We talked about 20-25 minutes and drank tea with Robert..After finished concert I tried to learn where do they stay in.Next day I waited by the hotel. When Robert go out I kissed him and arms around..He was real and gentleman. No complimants etc. Asked me yesterdays concert performance.I said time passed so fast like a dream . I said I came about 1000 km from my town to İstanbul for the concert he said please drive carrefully. I taked LZ 3 lp and they singnature LP's.While I wait for Jimmy he was shopping peddler who sells cheap imitation watches near the hotel street.I talked to him 5-6 minutes. He was gentleman a sincere like normal persons.I loved them more because most important band of history (according to me)and so normal persons like a teacher or friends.Sorry for my poor english. LZ is the most honorable band of history.Because when Bonzo died they finished Led Zeppelin in the most popular period. They could find another drummer. But they didn't choose this way because some things more important then money.I Proud of myself to meet these priceless persons I met. Thanks god created Led Zeppelin and Ahmet Ertegün(Turkih Manager discovered them) Hope they will long happily long years. I wrote this about 30-40 minutes.Bye.

Emin Kurnaz Thank for you words. Nice to read that. Indeed, they din't want to continue after losing Bonzo. What would have happenend it they continued like The Who did after 1978? By the way: Ahmet Ertegün didn't discover them, he was impressed by them, so he gave thema contract for albums from 1969-75. He was the manager of Atlantic Records. LZ's manager was Peter Grant. But Ertügn discovered one really great musician: Ray Charles. He wrote a song for him and recorded it right after Ray Charles playd it.

All of these reunions of Led Zeppelin gave me goosebumps no matter if there were mistakes or not. This band in my opinion deserve all the recognition they get. After all these years I still enjoy listening to all their albums. Their music is timeless to me and always will be.

Led Zeppelin was the best band ever. the day John Bonham died I cried like a baby I had to leave work and go home. I saw them at the Garden New York City 1975. Was so stoned I don't remember half the concert. Experience of a lifetime. Wouldn't have it any other way. I still listen to them to this day. Go Led Zeppelin

Phil really stepped up to the plate. He's so talented man! Love Page & Plant. Of course nothing compares to their Led Zeppelin Days with Bonzo, but they still kicked ass here! Love 'em!

absolutely true! for a drummer who havent rehearsed a single time with them, and having to play with tony thompson who plays way too loud and always pushing the beat a little ahead (it was clearly his first ever '2 drums' experience), collins did a decent job that day. and john paul jones, well, what else can i say? the man is more than reliable in every circumstance. even in the good old days, if it was'nt for him and john bonham, the best rythm section of the whole 70's, well, led zep would had been just a sloppy blues band with very good guitar riffs.

You could always count on Mark Goodman to ruin a moment. "I'm not going to give away the whole set, but that's "Rock n Roll" and they'll be doing "Stairway to Heaven"…I remember being so pissed at him for talking on top of the intro. Although this was a mess, this day was not about music precision. It was an amazing historical event, and in the moment, every rock fan I knew dug it.

I had the same reaction. What a tool! "Phil COLLINS on stage." Who the f***k cares about Phil COLLINS when the remaining members of LED ZEPPELIN are on stage. GOODMAN talking over the intro was a huge mistake on national, live TV. Reminds me of that Saturday Night Live sketch where a DJ is always talking over the music.

+Stephanie Sandlin yup. Can't blame him for feeling a little pissed off, he was there for the LZ journey too. It wasn't ALL about Plant Page and Bonzo. Also there was a really wanky remark by Plant during the "Second coming" that was the Page/Plant stuff around this time - he was asked where JPJ was - "oh he's outside parking the car" - or something to that effect, which rather hurt Jones as they HAD been close at one point.

Yes, Plant is a difficult one. I get Jimmy. I get JPJ. Plant's a complete clusterfuck. Singeritis, big ego, alpha, unpredictable - he can be an annoying bitch at times. That fact has made anything he has done post Zep only moderately at best interesting. JPJ's Zooma absolutely kicked ass. So did The Thunderthief.

Why do these get so much hate? I understand they may not live up to expectations, but just to see them play together again. But even if these were as bad as people say, 2007 made up for it.

+Timothy Morris When you a living god of rock people try to knock you down. All Zepp song are music to my ears. This was put together but not much was put into this show.

+Timothy Morris I don't know. All I know is that critics hated these guys. Maybe because they so callously and so freely stole songs from other artists. I agree that they sounded fantastic in 2007 at O2.

Glad I saw them live in their peak years, Long Beach Arena in 74 and St. Paul,Mn. 1983 or 84. Then "Bonzo" was gone... and only Jason Bonham revived the sound on drums. Peace.

In what universe was Led Zeppelin performing in 1983 or 84? I saw Robert Plant in September 83, but Page and Jones were certainly not there and there was 0% Led Zeppelin played.

He was often straining playing live even early on, especially before he got warmed up for the night. He had whole alternate melodies for songs like Rock and Roll, Over the Hills and Far Away and he didn't hit that high note on "lady" even back then on the '73 show that became the movie.
