Add 1 litre milk, 2 tbs sugar, 1 tbs Blossom water, 1 tbs rose water, 2 tbs white vinegar (or half a lemon). Mix ingredients, leave pan on high heat. After 5 minutes you'll see it forming - leave for a couple more minutes than sift the ashta out. Later on 4:15 she adds 'Puck' cream (some put whipped cream) to the mixture - mix well and refrigerate for half an hour. She mentions all the alternatives after the five minute mark.

Pure Ashta is made by skimming the milk . Ashwe. You just boil the milk and skim the fat. The fat then get strained and refrigerated . Later it get mixed.

    8 жыл бұрын

+Nicole Lauder Yes sure u can make this mixture instead of that cream : 2 cups of milk, 3tbl of sugar, 3tbs of cornflour mix them very well until the cornflour dissolved in milk also u can add 1 tbs of rose water if u have ( optional ) and then put them in medium heat keep mixing them until become thick like ( ashtaliyeh ) or like rice pudding then leave them to cool and then add them to the clotted cream that u made it i hope that help : )

Also I have a different recipe : u can make at home instead of using this puck cream . After you prepare the clotted cream . In a sauce pan add 500 ml of milk , 3 tbs of sugar , 4 fully tbs of corn flour 1 tbs of rose water and 1 tbs of blossom water mix them very good until the cornflour dissolve in milk then cook them on high heat keep mixing until the mixture get thicker put them aside to cool then add the clotted cream mix well or u can use the hand blender or food processor to mix them and ashta will be ready .
