Hello SmileyGirl! I am also from Lebanon but I left many years ago. We used to buy the Lebanese sweets in Lebanon so we really never learned to make them at home so, away from home, we were deprived of these delicious recipes & i personally never learned how to make them cause they seemed quite difficult; watching you, it seemed quite easy. Thanks to You Tube & your talent I will definitely try to make the halawet el jebn . Keep posting these wonderful videos.Thank you & God bless!

+Taiba Iqbal the original Ashta method is quite simple to make . Using 1 litre of milk mixed with 2 tbs of white vinegar or 2 tbs of lemon juice on meduim heat, as soon as the milk starts to clot, add the rose water and orange blossom water, and start scooping out the Ashta/clotted cream from the surface into a separate strainer and through the water of the milk after that add to the clotted cream 1 puck قشطة بوك سادة or nestle cream and mix it together and put it in the fridge for 1 hour after that you can use it and in few days i will make it in a video nshalah : )
