These woman’s stories are so important for other women to hear. As this can save lives. With that said please remove the background music in your productions as it is distracting from these woman’s important messages that they are sending to help others. Thank you .

Survived DV when I was very young… it’s been 34 years since I left him and we share an adult daughter and he came to visit last summer and unfortunately he cornered me one night when I didn’t have my husband with me and you know what?? He hasn’t changed not even a little bit!!! Same narcissistic abusive behavior…I’m blessed to be alive and well thank you for sharing your story 🙏❤️

Thank God you woke up before did THE worse. Nearly every family has a story like that with some woman in their family. In my own family I know that my GRANDMOTHER, AUNTS, and my MOTHER were victims of DV. My mother, though, was my hero. Having witnessed DV when she was growing up, she too resolved to never tolerate abuse in her life. And she never did. When my stepdad became abusive, I remember her having like 6 duffle bags stuffed under our beds. When he left for work she gathered up all those bags and next thing you know we were piled on a Greyhound bus. Gone. Now, my mom was born in 1923, barely had a junior high education, 4 kids, no work skills, no money (my stepdad NEVER allowed her to have ANY money). But she had self-respect and courage, and she found her way to freedom. From that experience, if a man so much as raised his voice to me, I was out. Men are too dangerous to "wait and see". Like my momma, I do not play stupid games with men. The BS ended with my mom's example, and I have held true to that legacy. There are millions of women enduring DV. Maybe women continuing to tell their stories will give those women the courage to break free too.

When you said you didn't see the red flags because you thought relationships were a struggle, I felt that! Without realising it, i was taking on the role of God by trying to save my ex. It doesn't work! I learnt this the hard way! I Praise God for getting me out of that very dire situation, I know without a doubt it was Him! 🙏✝💪

I grew up watching domestic violence between my parents. Same story, scared kid n said “id never be in a relationship like that.” Ya well never say never cuz at 26 i dated a 41 yr old abuser. Slapped my head, controlled me, slammed my fridge in apartment my condiments spilled, tiny hole in apt wall, berated me, looked like a literal demon when angry. Im out tho n im 28…. 2 years of psycho.

It was a sudden yes and I was out the door with my son she's still my best friend today. I think it's important for people to hear the stories it just might help someone else. Similar to so many including the one that has been on the news, Mica Miller Francis the most dangerous time is when you tell them you are leaving. DONT TELL THEM, please leave quietly and maybe seek domestic violence shelter who can protect you. DONT ever go back to talk or whatever they ask you, DONT. these people dont give up, please stay safe.

"Telling you that you were ugly" Thank you, noone talks about that. Have the same experience where he parted my face in 5 parts, telling me in detail why they were ugly with a smile. Thank you again for talking about that it takes way more than 7 times to leave and that the police doesnt help. Was raped aswell and never met him again after that. Funny that he denied me sex and shamed me over having sexual feelings and when I lost my drive, he initiated and when I didnt want to, he raped. They do the opposite of what we want. He also told me he could strangle me to death, just like that, wasnt angry or anything. That and that I had a punchable face because it was square. I find most narcissist videos doesnt describe all of this but this video does. ❤❤❤❤❤

Adults should be ashamed to subject their children to violence and verbal and emotional abuse! It’s a crime before man and God. You’re breaking these little children’s spirits. If you, as a man, have to physically abuse a woman or any other kind of abuse, you are a sorry excuse for a human being! You’re emotionally abusing someone you’re with but you’re calling them ugly, stupid, etc? So, what does that make you? Women, there are always signs. Nobody can hide their real character (or lack of) for long. Do not believe EVERYTHING an abuser tells you. Abusers are bullies, cowards, insecure about their manhood and take out their frustrations on women and their own children. And they are out there in big numbers and they can tell which women are the most vulnerable. Please proceed with caution and be safe.
