I don't get those people who say they've gained weight because the gym is closed. You can exercise at home. Even if you don't have thousands of $$$ in equipment. I don't get gyms in the first place. So you drive to some building, when the point is to get exercise and walking is good exercise. But then you jump on a treadmill, EVERYONE used the treadmills. Then you pay to use other expensive shiny equipment, but just living in a gravity well provides a lot of exercise. There's rocks everywhere you go, the figgin planet is made out of them. We have it so good today that most people have to go somewhere and pay for the privilege of moving around just to take up all the excess energy their body creates. Most days I spend a couple hours before work doing things like home repairs for seniors or volunteering at a soup kitchen. I ain't got time or energy enough to be paying someone so I can burn off excess calories. If you have excess calories and you're using them on a treadmill while staring out a plate glass window in a strip mall, there's something seriously wrong with you.

Body weight exercises for resistance training are more than adequate for 99.99999% of the population. Strongman and body builder competitors are really the only ones who need weight in excess of their body.
