Looking more into it, he didn't schedule his surgery at the same time. He got the surgery for a sunken chest in July. But his kids weren't born until August. What happened was that he had complications from the surgery. Which caused fluid to build up in his chest cavity. That required follow-up surgery in August. Preventing him from being in the delivery room. The guy was definitely bad with his wife. Although people are taking that "elective surgery" angle the wrong way. I got a friend who needs it also.

Dagwood sandwiches are of the Gods! My dad used to literally make multiple layered sandwiches when I was a child. He didn't do the toothpick/olive thing on top, but otherwise the sandwiches were comically large, especially to a 5 year old.

Usually all I have to do is juxtapose how miserable they are currently with how chill and happy they could be by showing them how to have fun, and once I do so a lot of the times they realize that there is a better way to be.

Crowder's divorce is just as deserved as Rod Dreher's was heartbreaking.
