Apparently EX dive is a popular thing mainly in japan, there was a tournament that a japanese player prepared against i think punk but lost and later said he had practiced to punish the ex dive but punk wasnt doing it and played very different from japanese cammy players!

Regarding the switching your wavelength part when playing modern thing, I think the solution is pretty damn simple. On my modern Cammy (ty for lp anime illuminati man), I only use the modern input for reactive stuff like dp spin knuckle lvl3 super, and also preemptive tk divekicks. But everything else should realistically be normal Inputs if you wanna save yourself a lot of trouble long term

I always enjoyed Harumy's Ibuki in SFV and as a Samsho player as well enjoyed her play in the game too

7:40 after forward throwing you can do buffer dr into buffer whiffed throw. It is safe against short ranged reversals like Jamie, Ryu, Luke, Blanka, Chun-Li, and JP's OD reversals. Akis super1 too probs. I haven't labbed the supers but if they have a similar reach as those listed above you should be able to bait it out. edit: OH CRAP this only works when they have space to backrise and do backrise. but hey who doesnt backrise Edit: the combo at 13:17 can be further optimized to 2mk xx DRC xx 4HK, 4HK, M.arrow, H.DP. clocks in at 2479 damage. doesn't work on crouching opponents btw because first 4HK whiffs

@@Nostalgiaforinfi yep. Master modern cammy btw. I do that combo a lot. You just need to do it riiight after the second 4HK recovers. If not you can always do 4HK xx half charged H arrow then H DP. That combo is a lot more consistent as the only manual time you need is the half charge arrow. only one hit of H arrow hits so the damage is slightly less than the M arrow route tho. edit: damage of 2mk xx DRC xx 4HK, 4HK xx half charged H.arrow, H.DP is 2377. 102 damage to pay for higher consistency.

Not sure if Cammy meaty cr short is safe vs Aki. But lots of characters like Ryu and Ken can meaty Aki safely with st jab. Aki supers are all really slow as reversal options.

But, I knew I wanted to play Modern to help me out since I have bad hand dexterity (some nerve damage in my hands from accidents makes gaming hard) and I've never played this genre of games so it was gonna be a huge learning curve for Classic. I noticed at @12:05 that combo you copied from her was 2380. I was messing around and found out that if you do the same thing, but if you wait just slightly long enough after the 4HK input, you can reset and DR for 1 bar, into a sLP, then do your Light Spiral into a Medium DP. You'll get your damage up to 2829 so a 400+ increase for 1 additional bar on your drive meter... Seems worth/optimal to me but also unsure. Either way thought I would share and love your vids!

Modern Aki is cool but she's not really strong the reason being because she's barely plus 1 even after drive rush she's only plus 1 after on block, Cammy on the other hand can do several moves that leave her plus 4 even as high as plus 10. Huge difference
