No matter how "fast" a controller, mouse, screen, or keyboard is, you can't fix my crusty ahh boomer reflexes that's as fast as the tides changing. I get hit by overheads that have 3 day workweek animations.

It’s doable bro. If boomers like daigo and sako can so can you. It might take a little work but that’s what the lab is for 👍

Love the idea of using Magnets to keep an enclosure secure. That was a big thing for me when modding my Hitbox. I remember someone at a local had a Victrix. It was really cool to see them being able to open the top case. I wanted something easily accessible too for Hitbox, so I could trouble shoot without a lot of hassle. I ended up ordering a clear battery case that you could secure with a latch and just drilling holes in it, because I could not find anything that didn't require using screws. the Innovation is nice to see, like allowing the cord to be wrapped around the controller itself. All these things are awesome. Now to put them all into one Hitbox for the ultimate gaming controller.
Funny thing to bring up PCBs. One of the big reasons the Haute contrillers are so cheap iscthat they are running off a raspberry pi pico board running the GP 2040 firmware. It needs a little setup (files for ps4, and a passthrough for ps5), but it has drastically lowered the cost of making multi platform controllers.

@@ANIMEILLUMINATI Haute42-COSMOX recently released Booter 5 Dongle Adapter For HautePad / HauteBoard For PS4/PS5 at their Aliexpress store. Its basically Mayflash MagicBoots PS4/PS5. As of right now I don't see video covering the product though.
@shadowseal22

@ANIMEILLUMINATI for the Haute it's just the USB A pass-through port. You can configure the software to work on both PS4 and PS5 without timeouts. I just use a Mayflash magicboots.

@@ANIMEILLUMINATI assuming you're planning to mod the punk workshop, you're gonna need the GP2040-ce advanced breakout board and the mayflash magic boots adapter. the biggest problem would be having to rewire the whole system because of the different wire connectors of the pcb.
Yo the ease of access for modding and swapping is by far the coolest feature imo.
definitely loved the buttons. used it for about a year with my stick before i switched to their hitbox
when u accidentally pressed the mute button on the controller but it mutes the buttons instead XD
The small travel distance is welcome when running sliding techniques, which solves my biggest enemy with lever less controllers, the 2 x qcf input
Outside of missing a macro button like the newer controllers I think the Kitsune has been the best feeling experience I’ve had when it cones to leverless.

The M16 plus is really nice, I kinda prefer it over the Kitsune and for the price, it does kinda blow it out of the water.

@@Flashlegzthe m16plus blows that kitsune out of the water. It’s crazy how much better it is overall in terms of quality for such a cheaper price
This one is too expensive for me. The Haute42 S16 is such a gem for the price. Old fighter here by the way, 45 years old and recommending people to put the fightstick in the trash since 2016. Seriously, the old style is not always better.

I love my G16 and T16. Once you graduate from consoles to PC, the compatibility issues become meaningless. As for the guy complaining about hand pain, the same thing happens when you're learning piano or guitar. Your muscles aren't used to motions yet. These same thing happened to your right hand when you learned stick. There's no difference between your left/right pushing buttons except for in your head. Lol
tried this leverless at CB this year and its easily the best feeling leverless controller I've ever used, sliding across the buttons for instant Giant Swing felt super easy and the angled part of the box is really good for the wrists. For $135 thats an insanely good price too, way cheaper and way higher quality than whats consider a "high end" leverless or stick a western arcade stick maker tried it right after me, saw the price point, and said they're gonna get cooked 💀
@ANIMEILLUMINATI

It’s actually more expensive in Japan atm 😢
GP2040 boards do work with Switch, PS4, arcades. They can also work with PS5 and Xbox Series with the help of a passthrough or an adapter like Brook or Mayflash. These options are cheaper than Brook boards
I have the V2 version of this controller, I found that the buttons were too sensitive. After changing them out to some Tecsee mid switches the controller feel great also switched out the actual button and I love it.
I use their switches, V1s on the G16 and V2s on the B16 they make the buttons feel very responsible and snappy

Total travel distance is the most important spec for FGs, actuation distance matters less than deactuation distance
Just got the carbon fiber mini this week and absolutely love it. Dropped in a GP2040 to get PS5 and Xbox support. I do wish it were just a bit taller, though, as the inclined design significantly limits your button options (Sanwa won't fit--I was hoping for Punk directionals with Sanwa action buttons).
Great controller, I've had one since the release of SF6. My second hitbox since getting the original one in 2016 or so.
I wonder how the ergonomics work out the the slant. I switched to leverless so that I wouldn't need to bend my wrists. Everything else seems great though.
built a custom controller with magnets some time ago. it's really nice! big +!
Bought my Haute42 after a few friends recommended it to me and saw your video. It's been a week or so with my T13 and I don't look back. The only thing I'm interested in is when I visit Japan I want to somehow find a way to use the USB pass through to use on actual cabinets both Japan and American.
I did end up buying the buttons from punk workshop for my Hori Fighting Edge. I like them a lot, way quieter than what it came with and they feel pretty good. Would recommend.

To specify further I got the 30mm V1s when they were running a sale, but watching this on the stream is what motivated me to even consider a purchase.

I've seen so many Japanese players using this and I could never find the name. Glad you made this video.
damn that snackbox def got some clicky switches. I got some jades in mine and it sounds the same hahah.
Have a snackbox, but the layout of having l3 and r3 as separate buttons are appealing
I just wish they offered it with a Keebbrawler-04 layout (including the pill shaped buttons).
Punk Workshop has silicone o-rings on the stem of the button caps, just put one in yours and you have the same results, silent buttons. They're like a dollar a bag of 200.
can someone tell me where I can get this really cool evo2024 design? can't find it for purchase anywhere
The fact that it deals with magnets is awesome.
The Akira supreme nice, wish I got the work jacket
Great video man! Damn I'm torn. How much quieter is this than the Kitsune? And how big are the buttons on it? Are they MPress size or snackbox size? Thanks dude!

I kinda wish I bought one at EVO japan. But I already bought a snackbox and I don't even play leverless so I thought I shouldn't buy 2

@@ANIMEILLUMINATI That's the good stuff
When the button register with light press or barely any press, that's a huge downside for me as resting fingers on the buttons may accidently trigger them especially for the ring/pinky finger.
Do you know what the difference is between the U and M models?
@atomicskillet
12 сағат бұрын
The U is the full size and it is available with 2 more layout options, the “E” (split box) and the “X”, which has WASD keyboard-style direction buttons. I think there are some regional restrictions with certain options though, for whatever reason.
the magnets are mad nice
Does this controller have adjustable SOCD options or is it at least tournament viable SOCD?
The magnets are cool. Im surprised how little overlap there is between the stick / keeb community
I have a Brooke converter to play on ps5. Does anyone know if the standard board for the punk leverless will work with it?
@ANIMEILLUMINATI

Not sure, but I don’t see why not?
Try the cosmox haute42 m16+ next .
i wonder how it’d feel to use a leverless with a REVERSE incline, so your wrists don’t bend upward?
I have older version of the controller with gum like top buttons and same layout overall with RP2040 board, main downside of new version is proprietary PCB with higher input lag. It is a nice controller overall, but Haute is a better deal overall.
Do you know of any leverless with a left handed layout that’s decent quality? Same layout as you featured but just reverse?

hey Jyuna where's the video were you brag about had saved SF6 because now the game has jukebox, and a real good one, i'll never listen to SF6 ost ever again, well, maybe 1 song in a long while since i configured every char in the game with 29 different songs and 1 original from 6 but playing at random, other songs play a lot and that's great, betwen ost's from SF2, 4, Alpha 2 and SF5, the game now is complete.
