Learn When to Fold and Start PRINTING Money In Poker | Poker Vlog #82
Ойын-сауық
I'm back!!! After a month break, I'm finally back playing poker. I thought I'd ease back in the water with a lower stakes session, so I'm playing $2/3 NL today at The Lucky Lady Casino in Gardena, CA. Hopefully, you guys find this video helpful; even though I'm playing lower stakes, I brought my "A" game. Enjoy!

thanks! But seriously! This concept is more important than people realize. People often lose in hands and instead of thinking if they could've played it in a better way to lose less, they focus on the fact that it was just a cooler situation, and they were destined to be stacked

You are very skilled
On the double board bomb pot, on the turn you have nut-nut. But a number of river cards on both boards bring in flushes or full houses So I'd be looking to raise the max at that point to deny equity to your opponents Your hand may hold up against ONE player, but against multiple opponents you can wind up being stuck in the middle with 2nd best overall and get scooped
@BrantzenPoker

Thanks for the advice. The reason I didn’t raise the max was because the first player was already in, so I’d have to beat him anyway and there was no denying equity from him. The second guy was a “start over” essentially, and I just wanted to juice him for additional money
It was fun playing with you! I guess I over bet my AK clubs to your JJ but I didn’t know you had Js obviously. I thought maybe you were on a spade draw or low Ace. Good fold and I learned something. The last hand is hilarious she is the best ❤😂

Lol well as you go up in stakes, pros get more aggressive with bluffs and marginal hands. But in lower stakes, people rarely raise turns or Rivers as bluffs, and even flop raises are indicative of mostly super strong hands or strong draws

11:11 it was a good fold. He called your turn bet, which poses a strength, OR heavy/combo draw. Now river completes a draw, or retains the strength. I don't think that middle pair would make that move on river. Unless V overvalues his hand: fold!

Ahh I see it - but also the phone has a much better angle to see since it’s low and using a fish eye lens, so in real time I doubt it was that big of a flash

When dude had pocket 2/2. Did you really know what he had ? You listed off like 35 possible hands he could’ve had. One of them just happened to show up. That’s like going to a psychic and hearing super vague clues to your past life

@@christophertonwell what I’m repping there is like 99+ with the 3bet pre, bet size on flop/turn, so all low-mid pocket pairs minus 33 and 66 are basically the same. And I don’t think 33 or 66 snap call flop. They’re more likely to pause for a bit to contemplate raising or feign weakness
