Launching 'thelensfalcon' channel
Фильм және анимация
@thelensfalcon channel has existed for about a year and contains some legacy (wowfactorpix) videos and some showreels produced in the last year or so. HOWEVER, this is the official launch video (released 1 January 2024) for the channel and it explains the nature of future content that will be published on the channel. The channel aspires to be a place where you will find inspiration to develop your skills in wildlife photography and, if you're not a photographer, a place to develop your ability to critique and appreciate wildlife photography.
My purpose in establishing @thelensfalcon channel is to share my nature and wildlife imagery and tips and techniques that have worked for me in my endeavours to create compelling photographs and videos. Future episodes on this channel will also explain my techniques and strategies for capturing imagery in the field and processing it to achieve a desired, visualised outcome in the digital darkroom. I'll share grass-roots knowledge of animal behaviours that can lead to better anticipation of unfolding action, as well as post-processing strategies that help to inject mood and creative interpretation to make imagery more interesting.
I use OM Systems (MicroFourThirds) equipment and Adobe Creative Suite applications, but most of the 'how to' material that I publish will apply to any camera system, image editing software, or video editor.
I will be honoured to have you as a subscriber. I'm not trying to sell anything and I intend to freely share whatever knowledge and 'secrets' I have that may be of use to like-minded people.

Thanks, Wayne. Here's to more fun in 2024.
That little dance you did at 2:55, so relatable, yes sir! I have felt like that too when I got a photograph of a rare bird, or even just to have witnessed it with my eyes through the binoculars. Such excitement and happiness that's hard to explain to someone who hasn't gotten into bird/nature watching or wildlife photography yet. I can't wait to be over this current exam period to go out with my scopes and my (very cheap, very amateur) camera!

Thank you so much, Kha Ngo. I am so chuffed that you liked the celebratory dance (that I stole/emulated from a 'Father Ted' TV series episode). Hahaha. Got to have fun!
Love it and keen to see more.
