Our son Gabriel was born with wings in 2020. This was his funeral song and as such I find it hard to listen to, but now and then I do, it's beautiful and captures our pain and raw emotions 'perfectly'. My angel Gabriel.

Soo many fond and vague lonely memories I have with this song..

I want this song to be played at my funeral which I want no one to attend, it's just for me. this song is totally connected to my best friend who died at the age of 36 in 2002. Last night my dog died. it took him one and a half hours but then he was finally free, up til then he was great so I am very thankful cause he was 16, had a hard life but at least the last 6 years he was well taken care of by us. now I have two beloved souls to think of when i hear this song. adopt from your local shelter, especially elderly dogs like mine, they deserve a chance too! I'm from Mexico and I ran onto this song in a very unconventional way. It was the year of 2002. I was just 13 and internet was new to me (due to parenting restrictions). My mother had bought a new car, an Opel Meriva (sold as Chevrolet Meriva in my country). I remember I liked that weird car a lot and used the internet to find more info about it because it had a weird European design (not very common to see here) and I somehow ended up at the Opel website and found a video commercial of the car. The song, Gabriel by Lamb. I fell in love with it. Ever since I fell in love with the band and their style. I didn't know any English back then. I just knew I liked it and until today, I still listen to this and their other songs, but this one brings me back to 2002. 🥺 Makes me feel so nostalgic and how easy was life back then.

There was this incredible reality show in Lithuania in 2003. This song was a frequent background track creating an emotional atmosphere I remember to this day. There is sadly no footage of the show anywhere so this song is the only thing I have to bring back the nostalgic feels.

This song shows that you can do anything and that you can have everything, so that your lover can't give you anything new, and still you love your partner and even though you don't nessecarily need what they give you, you still want and appreciate what they can give you.
